Google Analytics integration setup guide
Connect your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property with the Flinque influencer marketing platform to attribute creator traffic, measure conversions, and unify creator analytics with your full website analytics.
What you can do with the Google Analytics integration
- Traffic attribution: see real GA4 traffic data attributed to specific creators and campaigns
- Conversion tracking: sync GA4 conversions and events to Flinque attribution reports
- Audience insights: understand creator-driven audience behaviour (bounce, sessions, engagement)
- Multi-property support: connect multiple GA4 properties for clients or brands
- UTM matching: Flinque-generated UTM links automatically match traffic in GA4
- Custom event tracking: import custom events you have configured in GA4
Before you begin
- A Flinque account on the Starter plan or above
- A Google Analytics 4 property (Universal Analytics is no longer supported by Google)
- Viewer or higher access to the GA4 property
- Conversion events configured in GA4 if you want conversion attribution
Setup steps
Open the Integrations page in Flinque
Log into your Flinque workspace at platform.flinque.com. Go to Settings → Integrations. Find Google Analytics and click Connect.
Sign in with Google
Click Sign in with Google. Choose the Google account that has access to your GA4 property. Approve the read-only Analytics scope.
Select your GA4 property
Flinque lists all GA4 properties you have access to. Select the property tied to your business website. If you manage multiple brands, you can add additional properties later.
Map conversion events
Choose which GA4 conversion events Flinque should track for attribution (e.g., purchase, sign_up, lead, contact_form). These events will be matched against creator-driven sessions.
Save and verify
Click Save. First sync may take 30 minutes for properties with significant history. Subsequent syncs run hourly.
Troubleshooting
“No properties found”
Confirm the connected Google account has access to a GA4 property. If you migrated from Universal Analytics, ensure the GA4 property is fully set up and receiving data.
UTM data not appearing
Confirm Flinque-generated UTM links use the same utm_medium label across all creators. Review your UTM Tracking settings to verify naming conventions.
Conversion counts mismatch
GA4 uses different attribution models than Flinque. Small discrepancies are normal due to different lookback windows and attribution methodologies (data-driven vs last-click).
Disconnecting the integration
- In Flinque, go to Settings → Integrations → Google Analytics and click Disconnect
- Optionally revoke Flinque’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions
