Google Ads integration setup guide

Connect your Google Ads account with the Flinque influencer marketing platform to compare creator campaign performance against paid search and display campaigns in one dashboard.

Setup Time
5 minutes
Plan Required
Starter and above
Auth Method
Google OAuth 2.0

What you can do with the Google Ads integration

  • Compare creator vs paid performance: see CPA and ROAS side by side for creator campaigns and paid search
  • Pull spend data: Google Ads spend automatically syncs into Flinque attribution reports
  • Cross-channel reporting: understand the true contribution of creators alongside paid search
  • Audience overlap analysis: see whether creator audiences overlap with paid audiences
  • Campaign tagging: tag campaigns to compare creator-driven vs Google Ads-driven conversions
  • Multiple account support: connect multiple Google Ads accounts (Manager Account / MCC supported)

Before you begin

  • A Flinque account on the Starter plan or above
  • A Google Ads account with admin or read access
  • The Google account email used to sign in to Google Ads

Setup steps

1

Open the Integrations page in Flinque

Log into your Flinque workspace at platform.flinque.com. Go to Settings → Integrations. Find Google Ads and click Connect.

2

Sign in with Google

Click Sign in with Google and choose the Google account that has access to your Google Ads account. Approve the requested read-only scope (adwords).

3

Select Google Ads accounts

Flinque displays the Google Ads accounts you have access to. Select one or more accounts to sync. Manager Accounts (MCCs) can sync all sub-accounts.

4

Configure sync settings

Choose what to sync: campaign-level spend, ad-group spend, conversion data, and audience data. Set sync frequency (default: every 6 hours). Click Save.

5

Verify and explore

First sync may take 30 to 60 minutes for accounts with extensive history. Once complete, your Google Ads data appears in Flinque cross-channel reports.

Troubleshooting

“No accounts found”

The Google account you signed in with does not have access to any Google Ads accounts. Make sure you signed in with the correct email or have a Google Ads admin add you to the account.

Spend data missing

Verify that the connected user has at least Read-Only access to the Google Ads account (not just Email-Only). Standard or Admin access is required for full data.

Sync errors after Google policy changes

Google occasionally requires re-authentication. If syncs fail, disconnect and reconnect the integration to refresh your OAuth token.

Disconnecting the integration

  1. In Flinque, go to Settings → Integrations → Google Ads and click Disconnect
  2. Optionally revoke Flinque’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions
