Excel Online integration setup guide

Connect Microsoft Excel Online with the Flinque influencer marketing platform to push creator data and campaign reports directly into Excel workbooks stored in OneDrive or SharePoint.

Before you begin

  • A Flinque account on the Starter plan or above
  • A Microsoft 365 account (personal or business)
  • OneDrive or SharePoint access for storing Excel files
  • For Microsoft 365 Business accounts, admin approval may be required to install third-party apps

Setup steps

Open the Integrations page in Flinque

Log into your Flinque workspace at platform.flinque.com. Go to Settings → Integrations. Find Excel Online and click Connect.

Sign in with Microsoft

Click Sign in with Microsoft. Use your Microsoft 365 credentials. Approve the requested scopes (Files.ReadWrite, Sites.ReadWrite.All for SharePoint).

Choose default storage location

Select where Flinque should save Excel files. Options include OneDrive root, a specific OneDrive folder, or a SharePoint document library.

Save and test export

Click Save. From any creator list or campaign in Flinque, click Export → Excel Online to test the integration.

Troubleshooting

“Need admin approval”

Microsoft 365 Business and Enterprise tenants restrict third-party apps. Ask your IT admin to approve Flinque in your tenant’s app management settings.

SharePoint folder not appearing

Confirm you have at least Edit access on the target SharePoint document library. Read-only access does not allow Flinque to write files.

Workbook formatting lost on export

Flinque exports raw data into Excel cells. Custom formatting, formulas, and charts in the destination workbook are preserved as long as they reference different cell ranges.

Disconnecting the integration

  1. In Flinque, go to Settings → Integrations → Excel Online and click Disconnect
  2. Optionally revoke Flinque’s access at account.live.com/consent/Manage (personal) or via Microsoft 365 admin center (business)
