Ecwid integration setup guide
Connect your Ecwid (now Lightspeed eCom) store with the Flinque influencer marketing platform to track creator-driven sales, manage discount codes, and attribute orders from your Ecwid store.
What you can do with the Ecwid integration
- Track creator-driven sales: attribute Ecwid orders to creators and campaigns
- Sync discount codes: generate creator-specific Ecwid coupons automatically
- Real-time order events: webhook integration for instant tracking
- Multi-platform tracking: works with Ecwid stores embedded on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or standalone
- Customer data: understand creator-driven customer behaviour and lifetime value
- Lightweight setup: simple OAuth flow, fast install
Before you begin
Make sure you have:
- A Flinque account on the Starter plan or above
- An Ecwid store (Free, Venture, Business, or Unlimited plan)
- Store administrator access
- Awareness that some advanced features require Ecwid Business plan or higher (multi-staff, advanced API endpoints)
Setup steps
Open the Integrations page in Flinque
Log into your Flinque workspace at platform.flinque.com. Go to Settings → Integrations. Find Ecwid and click Connect.
Authorize via Ecwid OAuth
Click Sign in with Ecwid. You will be redirected to Ecwid’s login page. Sign in with your Ecwid administrator credentials.
Approve permissions
Ecwid will display the permissions Flinque is requesting:
- Read product catalog
- Read orders and customers
- Manage discount coupons
- Subscribe to webhooks
Click Authorize. You will be redirected back to Flinque.
Configure attribution preferences
Choose your attribution mode (coupon, UTM, or combined). Set defaults for auto-generated creator coupons if you want Flinque to manage them.
Save and verify
Click Save Settings. Flinque registers webhooks with Ecwid and performs a test sync. Look for the green confirmation banner.
Verifying the connection
- Place a test order using a creator coupon or UTM-tagged link
- Check Flinque Campaigns view; the order should appear within 5 minutes (faster with webhooks)
- Confirm Ecwid products and inventory are visible in your Flinque catalog
Troubleshooting
Authorization failed
Confirm you signed in with an Ecwid account that has store administrator privileges. Staff accounts with limited permissions cannot install third-party apps. Try the OAuth flow again from Flinque settings.
Coupon endpoint errors
Discount coupons require Ecwid Venture plan or higher. If you are on the Free plan, switch to UTM-only attribution mode in your Flinque integration settings.
Webhooks not firing
Check Ecwid’s Apps → Apps Settings → Flinque page; webhook subscriptions should be listed. If missing, disconnect and reconnect the integration to re-register webhooks.
Multi-storefront tracking
If you embed your Ecwid store on multiple websites (WordPress + Wix, etc.), Flinque captures attribution from any storefront the order originated on. No additional configuration needed.
Disconnecting the integration
- In Flinque, go to Settings → Integrations → Ecwid and click Disconnect
- In Ecwid, go to Apps → My Apps, find Flinque and click Uninstall
