Flinque User Agreement
The short version, for you as an individual user
This User Agreement focuses on you personally as a user of Flinque, whether you are a brand marketer, agency team member, creator, or anyone else who signs in to our platform. While our Terms and Conditions cover the broader business relationship, this User Agreement covers your individual responsibilities as a user.
It covers how you should behave with team members, how to handle shared workspace access responsibly, what you can and cannot do with creator data, and the rules for treating other users and creators fairly. Most of this is common sense: be honest, be respectful, do not abuse access.
If something is unclear, contact us via the contact page.

1. Who This Agreement Covers
This User Agreement applies to every individual who signs in to or uses the Flinque influencer marketing platform, whether as a paying customer, a teammate invited to a shared workspace, a Free Plan user, an API developer, a webinar registrant, a creator managing their own presence, or any other capacity.
This agreement works alongside and complements:
- Our Terms and Conditions, which cover the commercial and contractual relationship
- Our Acceptable Use Policy, which details platform-wide rules
- Our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal data
Where these documents conflict on any specific matter, the Terms and Conditions control for commercial disputes, this User Agreement controls for individual user conduct, and the Privacy Policy controls for personal data handling.
2. User Categories
Flinque recognizes several different user categories, each with specific rights and responsibilities.
2.1 Account owner
The individual or organizational representative who created the workspace, accepted our Terms, and is responsible for billing. Account owners have full administrative control over the workspace.
2.2 Workspace administrator
Team members granted administrative access by the account owner. Admins can invite other team members, manage roles, and configure workspace settings.
2.3 Team member
Individuals invited to a paid workspace who use their allocated seat. Team members have access per the roles and permissions assigned by workspace admins.
2.4 Free Plan user
Individuals using Flinque’s Free Plan without a paid subscription. Free Plan users have single-seat access only and cannot invite additional team members.
2.5 API user
Developers and technical users accessing Flinque through our Developer API. API users are subject to rate limits and endpoint restrictions based on their plan.
2.6 Creators
Individuals whose public profile data appears in the Flinque platform. Creators have rights regarding their data, including opt-out and removal, as detailed in our Data Removal and Right to Erasure Policy.
3. Your Account Responsibilities
As an individual user, you are responsible for the security and activity of your account. Your responsibilities include:
- Choosing a strong, unique password and not reusing it on other services
- Enabling multi-factor authentication when available
- Keeping your email address current so we can reach you about account matters
- Not sharing your login credentials with anyone, including teammates (use the team invite feature instead)
- Signing out of shared or public devices after each use
- Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access
- Keeping your contact information accurate
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your login. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us immediately through our Report an Issue page with severity marked P1 Critical.
4. Workspace and Team Access
If you join an existing workspace (your company’s Flinque account, for example), you are using a seat allocated by the account owner. Specific rules:
- Your access to the workspace exists at the discretion of the account owner or workspace admin
- The workspace admin may remove your access at any time
- Content you create in the workspace (lists, notes, campaigns) is workspace property, not personal property
- When you leave an organization, your access to its workspace should be revoked by the admin, not taken with you
- You should not attempt to export, copy, or transfer workspace data to personal accounts without authorization
Starter plans include 2 team seats. Enterprise plans include 10 team seats and unlimited team roles. See our Pricing page for current seat limits per plan.
5. Team Member Roles and Permissions
Workspaces can have multiple team members with different levels of access. Common role types include:
- Owner: full access including billing, workspace settings, and all features
- Admin: access to most features, team management, excluding billing
- Member: access to search, outreach, and lists, no team management
- Viewer: read-only access to workspace content
- Guest: limited access to specific shared content only
Enterprise customers can create custom roles and assign granular permissions.
As a team member, you should not attempt to access features or data beyond your assigned role. If you need additional access, request it from your workspace admin rather than circumventing permissions.
6. Respecting Creators
Creators whose profile data appears on the influencer marketing platform are real people running businesses. When using Flinque to discover, evaluate, or contact creators, you agree to treat them with respect and professionalism.
This means you will:
- Use creator contact information only for legitimate partnership outreach
- Personalize outreach and avoid mass-generic templates
- Respect creator decisions when they decline a partnership
- Not pressure, harass, or repeatedly contact creators who have shown disinterest
- Not publicly attack creators based on information or scores you saw in the platform
- Follow through honestly on any commitments you make in outreach
- Honor payment terms agreed in contracts
- Give credit where credit is due when sharing or reposting creator content
Poor treatment of creators damages Flinque’s relationships with the broader creator community. Persistent abusive behavior can result in loss of access regardless of plan tier.
7. Outreach Conduct
Outreach messages you send through Flinque are your responsibility. The following rules apply regardless of channel:
7.1 Be honest about who you are
Identify yourself, your organization, and your role clearly. Do not impersonate Flinque, platform representatives, journalists, or other parties.
7.2 Be accurate about what you offer
Do not misrepresent compensation, product attributes, deliverables, timelines, or campaign scope. If terms change later, negotiate openly rather than pretending they were always that way.
7.3 Volume and frequency
Do not flood creators with identical messages across multiple channels. Do not follow up more than 2 to 3 times after an initial message with no response. Respect stop requests immediately.
7.4 Anti-spam compliance
Your outreach must comply with anti-spam laws in the jurisdictions where you and the recipient are located. See our Anti-Spam Policy for details.
7.5 Cold outreach to personal email
When a creator has listed a personal email publicly for partnership inquiries, using it for outreach is acceptable. When a creator lists a specific email for a different purpose (for example, fan mail or press only), respect the stated purpose.
8. Content You Create in the Platform
You own the content you create in Flinque (saved lists, outreach templates, campaign notes, tags, annotations). By creating content in the platform, you grant us a limited license to store, reproduce, and display it solely to operate the Service for you.
You represent that your content:
- Is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- Does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights
- Does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or harmful material
- Was obtained lawfully (for example, creator contacts you upload should come from legitimate sources)
You can export your content at any time and can delete content from your workspace at any time. When your account closes, content is handled per our Data Retention Policy.
9. Shared Lists and Collaboration
When you share creator lists with teammates or clients:
- Everyone you share with is expected to follow this User Agreement
- You are responsible for who you share sensitive campaign data with
- Shared lists remain workspace property even when external recipients view them
- External sharing of creator contact details must respect the creator’s own privacy preferences and applicable laws
- Exported lists (CSV, PDF) taken outside Flinque are no longer governed by our platform controls; handle them responsibly
Do not post creator contact information to public channels, forums, or shared documents where it can be harvested by unauthorized parties.
10. Creator Accounts on Flinque
Creators can sign up for their own Flinque accounts to manage how their data appears in the platform, claim their public profile, and communicate with brands.
As a creator user:
- You can update contact preferences for how brands reach you
- You can flag inaccurate data for correction
- You can request opt-out from the platform per our Data Removal and Right to Erasure Policy
- You retain ownership of your own social content and profile data
- You should represent your audience and metrics accurately when communicating with brands
Creators who sign up as customers (using Flinque to discover other creators for collaboration) are bound by both creator-specific rules and the general user rules in this agreement.
11. Prohibited Personal Conduct
The following personal conduct is not allowed regardless of your plan or role:
- Creating multiple accounts to evade limits, bans, or restrictions
- Sharing your credentials with others to bypass team seat limits
- Falsifying identity, employment, or affiliation information
- Using Flinque to harass, threaten, stalk, or discriminate against any person
- Using Flinque to doxx creators or expose private information
- Using Flinque to organize targeted harassment campaigns
- Soliciting sexual content or engaging in sexual harassment through the platform
- Using Flinque for activities that violate creator platform terms (for example buying or selling fake engagement)
- Selling, sharing, or trading creator contact lists outside your authorized workspace
- Attempting to reverse-engineer scoring algorithms or scrape data beyond API permissions
For full platform-wide conduct rules, see our Acceptable Use Policy.
12. Reporting Other Users
If another user behaves in a way that violates this User Agreement, you can report it. Specifically:
- Creators receiving abusive or harassing outreach: forward the message details and sender information through our contact page
- Team members concerned about workspace colleague behavior: raise it with your workspace admin or report via the contact page
- Customers concerned about another user’s platform conduct: submit details via Report an Issue
- Intellectual property infringement: follow our DMCA and Copyright Takedown Policy
We investigate reports thoroughly and confidentially. Reporters are protected from retaliation: we do not share the reporter’s identity with the accused party without consent.
Reports made in bad faith (fabricated complaints, frivolous reporting, or reports used to harass other users) are themselves violations of this agreement.
13. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this User Agreement are handled proportionately. Possible consequences include:
- Warning: for minor first-time violations with clear willingness to correct
- Feature restriction: temporary loss of specific capabilities (outreach, export, API access)
- Account suspension: temporary loss of platform access
- Account termination: for repeated, serious, or egregious violations
- Ban from future Flinque use: for fraudulent activity, harassment campaigns, or criminal conduct
- Legal action: where conduct causes measurable harm or involves illegal behavior
For severe violations involving fraud, harm to creators, or illegal activity, we may act immediately without warning. Termination procedures follow our Terms and Conditions.
14. Account Closure by You
You can close your individual account at any time through your account dashboard. Specific points:
14.1 If you are the account owner
Closing your account closes the entire workspace. Any team members lose access, and workspace content is deleted per our Data Retention Policy. Export any data you want to keep before closing.
14.2 If you are a team member
You cannot close the workspace, but you can leave it. Ask your admin to remove you, or use the leave option in your profile settings. Content you created in the workspace remains with the workspace.
14.3 If you are a Free Plan user
Close your account through the dashboard or contact our support team. Inactive Free Plan accounts may be automatically closed after 12 months of no login.
14.4 If you are a creator
Closing your creator account removes your managed profile but does not automatically remove your public data from our platform. For data removal, follow our Data Removal and Right to Erasure Policy.
15. Contact and Disputes
If you have questions about this agreement, need to report a violation, or want to raise a concern about how we have applied these rules to your account, contact us.
For disputes about the commercial relationship (billing, subscription terms, service availability), see the dispute resolution procedures in our Terms and Conditions.
