Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 December, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Flinque (“Flinque”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit our website, use our software-as-a-service platform, or interact with us in any other way.
Flinque is operated by a company registered in India and provides services globally, with a primary focus on brands and users located in the United States, Canada, Spain, Australia and the wider European region. We take privacy and data protection seriously and aim to comply with applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the UK GDPR, and relevant privacy regulations in the US, Canada, Spain, Australia and other jurisdictions where we operate.
1. Who We Are
Flinque is an influencer discovery and analytics platform. We aggregate publicly available influencer profile data from various online sources and social media platforms and make that information searchable for brands and agencies under a subscription model.
For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Flinque is typically the “data controller” for personal information we collect directly from you (e.g., when you sign up as a brand user). For influencer profile data we obtain from public sources, we act as a separate, independent controller of those public records.
2. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Visitors to our website and landing pages;
- Registered brand and agency users of the Flinque platform;
- Influencers / creators whose publicly available social media and related information is included in the Flinque database;
- Individuals who contact us by email, support forms or other communication channels.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to other websites, apps, or services you may access through Flinque, including social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter) or e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce / Magento, OpenCart). Those are governed by their own privacy policies.
3. Key Definitions
For clarity in this Privacy Policy:
- “Personal data” or “personal information” means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual (such as a name, username, email address, profile photo, or other data).
- “Influencer” or “creator” means any individual whose social media profile, content, or related metrics we index from publicly accessible sources.
- “Brand user” or “customer” means any business, agency, or individual who creates an account on Flinque to search and analyze influencer data.
- “Platform” means the Flinque website, application and any related tools, features, or services we provide.
4. Personal Data We Collect
4.1 Data You Provide to Us
We collect the following categories of personal data directly from you when you interact with us:
- Account and contact information: name, company name, job title, email address, password (stored securely via hashing), country and any other profile information you choose to provide.
- Billing and subscription data: subscription plan information, billing address, payment status and other transactional data (payment details are typically processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers).
- Communications: any messages you send to us via email, contact forms, support tickets or other channels, including the content of your inquiries and our responses.
- Uploaded or imported data: information you choose to import into Flinque, such as influencer lists or contact details via CSV or other formats (for example, if you upload a CSV file containing influencer handles, emails or campaign notes).
4.2 Data Collected Automatically
When you visit our website or use our platform, we automatically collect certain information using cookies, pixels, scripts and other tracking technologies, including:
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device identifiers, operating system, language settings, referring URLs, and information about the pages you view and how you navigate our site.
- Usage data: timestamps of visits, pages viewed, features used, search queries performed within the platform, click patterns, and other interaction data.
We use, among others, Google Analytics (GA), Google Search Console (GSC), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, and Microsoft Clarity, as well as other analytics and advertising tools from time to time, to understand usage patterns and improve our services.
4.3 Influencer Data from Public Sources
A core part of Flinque’s service is indexing and aggregating information about influencers and creators from publicly accessible online sources. This may include:
- Publicly available social media profile information such as username/handle, name (if provided), profile photo, biography, public follower and following counts, public posts, and stories or videos that are public at the time of collection;
- Publicly visible metrics such as likes, comments, shares, views, engagement rates, and estimates derived from such metrics;
- Publicly visible content attributes (for example, categories, hashtags, languages used, content style, and other metadata derived from public posts);
- Publicly available contact information shared by the influencer on their profile (such as business email address or website) or on their own external website;
- Other public internet sources where influencers or brands have intentionally published information (such as websites, marketplaces, or public directories).
We do not intentionally collect or process private messages or private content that is not publicly visible at the time of collection.
4.4 Data from Third Parties
We may receive additional information from third-party providers, such as:
- Analytics providers, advertising networks, and measurement partners;
- Payment providers and billing platforms;
- E-commerce or affiliate platforms (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce / Magento, BigCommerce, OpenCart or similar) when brands choose to connect their stores to Flinque for performance tracking;
