Read the result

The tool divides likes plus comments by followers and shows the result as a percentage, then names where it falls against the two published Instagram figures measured the same way. Quid's 2026 Social Media Industry Benchmark Report, published 5 March 2026, gives an all-industry median of 0.30%. Socialinsider's Social Media Benchmarks, published 16 January 2026, gives an average of 0.48%. Both measure brand and company accounts rather than individual creators. No source publishes an Instagram engagement rate by follower tier with a stated sample size and one denominator, so the tool applies no tier threshold and neither should you.
