🌼🌼 Sugarplum is still searching for her forever home!! She has not recieved one application since being posted. 🌼🌼

Age: 7years
Breed: Mini Poodle
Size: Small
Energy Level: Moderate

Sugarplum is a gentle, loving little poodle with a soft spirit and so much love to give. She may be a bit shy at first and needs some time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she becomes a devoted and affectionate companion.

She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys calm, relaxed strolls. Sugarplum would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help her feel secure and show her the ropes. She also does well with older, respectful children who understand that she may need a little space as she settles in. She is crate and potty trained, regression is common with a change in environment.

Sugarplum has been through quite a bit and is looking for a compassionate adopter who will continue to support her care. She has had a dental procedure with extractions and has undergone surgery to remove both mammary chains due to multiple mammary tumors. She also has a stage 3 heart murmur, which will require daily medication for the rest of her life, along with annual checkups with a cardiologist to ensure she stays as healthy as possible.

Despite everything she’s been through, Sugarplum has a quiet resilience and a sweet nature that shines through. With patience, understanding, and love, she will blossom into a deeply loyal companion.

If you’re looking for a special little dog who will reward your kindness with unwavering devotion, Sugarplum may be the perfect addition to your home.

Sugarplum is being fostered in Lancaster, PA and all potential adopters will need to travel there for a meet and greet!

🐾 Mr. Leo is still waiting for his happily ever after 🐾

Through absolutely no fault of his own, sweet little Leo was returned and is once again searching for the family he deserves.

Meet Leo — a year(ish) old male Yorkie with a big personality packed into a tiny body! His little legs can get him anywhere he wants to go, especially if toys are involved. Leo loves to play with his foster sibling or happily entertain himself tossing toys around.

He gets along with dogs of all sizes and also tolerates cats. Potty training is going well, accidents are fewer and farther between. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Leo does require another doggie friend in the home to help him feel secure, along with a fenced yard where he can safely explore and zoom around. He is still working through his fear of a leash. While crates aren’t really his thing, he does very well in a gated-off area.

Leo is a sweet, lovable little guy just waiting for someone to give him the forever home he’s been dreaming of. Could that be you? 🩵 apply today at

Tulips symbolize deep love, rebirth and spring ❤️ Could there be a more perfect name for this beautiful lady to re-start her life.

Everyone meet Miss Tulip. Tulip is a 3yr old(ish) Merle mini poodle weighing in at 12lbs and boy is she a stunner!!! With her beautiful Merle coloring and her ice blue eye she is sure to melt your heart. Tulip is still super duper shy and will require a very patient and understanding home.

Hi friends, it’s me Tulip. I’d like to start by telling you I’m still pretty fearful of the world. My life before rescue wasn’t great, I still hold a lot of trauma from that. My foster family is teaching me that not all people are mean and I trust them, but Im still super nervous. I will need a new family that is quiet and chill with very minimal commotion. Another furry sibling who is confident and chill would be amazing. I love all my foster siblings very much, both canine and feline, and I know having another doggie friend will make my transition a little less scary.

My foster mom says I am a Queen with the potty thing whatever that means. Maybe she is happy cause I never go inside. I’m also ok with a crate. My favorite place to be is on my dog bed, except for when the black kitty of the house won’t leave me alone, then I take a nappy in my crate. I don’t get on the furniture, yet. My foster mom keeps trying but I’m just not ready to be a lap dog, yet. Bless her heart for trying.

Tulip has not had much practice on a leash, they scare her very much. We have no doubts she will be fine one day but today, she is not so she will require a physically fenced in yard. This is NOT NEGOTIABLE!

She is UTD on all vaccines and preventatives. She has also been spayed and had a full dental.

If you are the calm and quiet home with a fenced in yard that Miss Tulip needs to be her bestest self, please apply for her at

Hi, I’m Mary!! I am a 14 week old cavalier-Shihtzu puppy. I was recently rescued from a commercial breeder and I’m having a blast with my foster family. Im full of sweetness and spunk. I love when the humans play with me and give me snuggles! My baby teeth are pretty sharp but my humans are working on training how to be gentle, I love a game of tug of war with toys when I’m getting my energy out. I love naps and relaxing equally as much as playing. I still sleep a lot since I’m a baby. I have my own crate and playpen for all my toys and it’s so fun! At first I was nervous to be left alone but I’m getting used to it and sleep in it all night! I try to get the big dogs to play with me but mostly i love to chase them outside in the yard. If the other dogs aren’t playing I’ll chase the kids too! Speaking of the yard, I am also working on potty training. I have a pretty good idea that the grass is where I’m supposed to go potty but I haven’t totally figured that part out yet. But of course I’m still learning and will take me awhile to learn all my training as I get bigger. I am SO excited to meet my forever family soon!

Mary is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. However, due to her young age, she will be adopted on a spay contract with a refundable deposit. Please note our adoption radius for puppies is 2 hours. Mary is being fostered in Chester County and all applicants should be prepared to travel there for adoption. A home visit and meet and greet with all family members is part of the application process. Please only apply for Mary if you are prepared, ready and planning to adopt a puppy! Apply here >>>

This beautiful 3-year-old Mini Bernadoodle weighs about 30 lbs and is looking for a patient, loving family to help her continue coming out of her shell. 💜

• 30 lb Mini Bernadoodle
• Dog & cat friendly
• Shy but very sweet
• Potty training is going well
• Leash walking is still a work in progress

Meet Charlie, his story began on the side of the road, where he was found abandoned alongside three other dogs with no collar, no microchip, just waiting for someone to care. Despite everything, Charlie remains incredibly gentle, sweet, and full of quiet love.

At approximately 4 years old, this handsome sheltie is shy when meeting new people and will need a patient, understanding adopter who’s willing to let him build trust at his own pace. But once Charlie feels safe, his personality begins to shine. He’s already learning the comforts of home life and how to be a family dog. Charlie’s beautiful coat will require regular grooming, and luckily, he truly enjoys grooming sessions with his foster making it a wonderful bonding experience.

Charlie at a glance:
• Gentle, calm, and very quiet (he rarely barks)
• Doing good with potty training (some regression can occur)
• Excellent on walks with no pulling or tugging
• Polite with treats and has wonderful manners
• Good with children, though he would thrive best in a calm, peaceful home
• Neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.

Charlie is currently being fostered in Havertown, and potential adopters should be willing to travel to meet this sweet boy.

Charlie is ready for the steady love and security he’s always deserved. If you’re looking for a quiet, soft-hearted companion and have the patience to help a shy dog blossom, Charlie may be the perfect addition to your family. Apply at

🐾 Meet Annie 🐾

Annie is an 11-week-old mixed breed puppy (possibly terrier/pit bull mix) weighing about 10 pounds. She’s your typical happy, playful puppy full of energy, curiosity, and love.

✨ About Annie:
• High-energy and always ready to play
• Great with kids, dogs, and people in general
• Currently working on crate training and doing very well
• Sleeps through the night in a gated area with limited accidents using pee pads
• If crated overnight, she would likely need one potty break
• Walking on a leash and learning quickly, though she still pulls some
• Very curious about small animals and wants to “bat around” a hamster, so a home without small pets is probably best

She already knows “sit” and “Annie come” commands

Annie is looking for a family ready for all the fun (and work!) that comes with raising a puppy. She would thrive with an active home that will continue her training and give her lots of love and exercise. ❤️

📌Annie is up to date on vaccinations, on preventative care, and microchipped. She will need more puppy shots to finish them up. She will be adopted on a spay contract that includes a $250 fully refundable deposit when the contract is followed.

🐾 Annie is being foster in Berks County, potential adopters and residential dogs will need to come to this area for a meet before being approved. 🐾

Meet Frappe ☕🐾

Frappe is a 4-year-old Miniature Poodle with the sweetest little soul. He’s happiest when he’s close to his person — whether that’s cuddling on the couch, following you around the house, or riding shotgun on errands. 💕

He would thrive in a home where someone is around often because he truly loves being with his people. Frappe gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having furry friends, though he can get a little jealous when he has to share attention (he just loves hard!).

This affectionate boy is playful, loving, and ready to be someone’s loyal best friend. If you’re looking for a tiny shadow to adore you endlessly, Frappe may be your perfect match. 🐩

Meet Pickles — a tiny bundle of fluff, personality, and pure joy 🐾

At about 7 months old, Pickles the Pomeranian is already mastering the art of stealing hearts. With his fluffy coat, and the sweetest little face, he looks just like a real-life stuffed teddy bear. He’s almost too cute to believe—and yes, he’s just as cuddly as he looks.

Pickles is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. He loves mini tennis balls, exploring his surroundings, and showing off his adorable little strut—but he’s just as happy curling up on the couch for a cozy nap. He’s at that fun puppy stage where everything is exciting, and every day is a new adventure.

This sweet boy is learning quickly and eager to please. With a little patience and continued training, Pickles will grow into a loyal, well-mannered companion. He thrives on attention, affection, and being part of the family—whether that means going for walks, playing fetch, or simply following you from room to room like your tiniest shadow.

Pickles would do wonderfully in a home where he gets plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. And fair warning—he is very generous with affection, so his future family must love puppy kisses!

Pickles is small in size but big in personality, and he’s ready to fill someone’s life with laughter, cuddles, and unconditional love.

Pickles sleeps soundly in his crate at night. He is good with kids and other dogs but can be a bit bossy. He’s working on leash walking and potty training and making progress.

Pickles is up to date on his vaccines and is neutered.

If you’re looking for a best friend who’s equal parts adorable and devoted, Pickles might just be your perfect match 💛 Apply at

Rescue. Done. Right

We know that there are a lot of people pulling and rehoming dogs. Most have good intentions. Others are simply flipping dogs to make money the way some people flip homes. They aren't properly vetting the dogs, assessing their behaviors, or interviewing potential adopters to ensure a successful fit into the home & family. But not everyone has done the work to be a true non-profit and register with the state. Zoe's House Rescue is an incorporated, registered 501(c) with the State of PA and the Department of Charitable Organizations. We are dedicated to helping our immediate community in rehoming, rescuing, and vetting.
