I COLORI DELLA TERRA
Il mio lavoro "artistico-artigianale" é basato su antiche pratiche, ma animate dalla volontà di imprimere la mia impronta cromatica, trovare la mia tavolozza naturale. In un nuovo rapporto è rispetto per l'ambiente, estraendo pigmenti vegetali che hanno un impatto zero rispetto ai più inquinanti colori prodotti industrialmente.
Deve considerato il corso ciclico della natura per cui si può parlare anche di colori stagionali che condizionano con diverse rese artistiche. Nel mio caso della stagione estiva, dove seppur minima, la differenza cromatica, quindi la resa su tela appare decisa, come i rossi ricavati da rose o il violetto del papavero e il giallo dal tarassaco. Proprio come gli elementi in natura, la tinta che si ottiene é viva, si evolve. Uno dei pregi dei colori vegetali infatti é quello di modificare leggermente la loro intensità nel tempo. È il valore aggiunto di un processo naturale, in cui nulla rimane immutato per sempre. La decorazione floreale è ispirata alle ceramiche della famosa designer e ceramista americana Ernestine Virden-Cannon.
