The older I get I see sacrifices I didn’t see as a kid. How he has been in pursuit of our family before any of us were born. Crazy how he was thinking of us and a way to care for us before he even knew us. He always has worked hard all growing up, high school, college, to prepare to take care of his family. Crazy how someone can so willingly and selflessly give everything, their time, talents, love, forgiveness, patience.
My dad radiates A heavenly father’s love. A love that keeps giving, keeps sacrificing, one that never fails. One that wants to give you the best possible chance at life not matter the cost. A love that is patient enough for us to get back up. A love kind enough to give us more than we deserve. A love forgiving enough to let us try again. It’s a love that endures long enough for us to understand.

Grateful for my all my sisters💕For the older sisters I’ve grown up w and all the childhood memories we’ve made and for the younger sisters that came to the family a little later. They bring pure joy to the family. it’s been a blessing to watch my parents raise them as they grow up. it’s like I’m watching myself grow up again:) it amazes me to watch my mom, (now that I’m older) continue to sacrifice so much to her children. To the younger girls she sacrifices herself physically, constantly nurturing/caring for little girls, up every other hour in the night nursing/getting the girls bottles, taking them to the bathroom. In the day keeping them fed, happy, and entertained. To her older kids she sacrifices herself emotionally, She carries all burden, worries, concerns for each of us. she is there always. Always there to listen, to love, and to pray for us. always thinking, always loving. She has been a constant source of love and support in my life. As I’ve watched her with each kid she’s had, I’ve seen her love develop and refine to a deeper level. Her love continues to deepen and grow. It’s a love that is unconditional and unlimited. Being a mother you embody a different kind of Christlike love. In awe I wonder how my mom does it all. but if there is one thing she’s taught me it is to draw upon Christ. She does it with him. his power and his love. she keeps giving just like he does. she has developed a love that endures all, that suffers all, that encompasses all. a love that never faileth🤍don’t know what I did in heaven to deserve her pure soul as my mother and all the amazing girls around me!

I remember years ago we started into a canyon that was so cold and had hours of trekking through cold water… a couple of hours in my little brother complaining about the cold asked
“why do we even have to go on these hikes?”
My dad said-
“because it builds character and one day you’ll learn to appreciate them. Even when it’s cold….”
Long story short and years later we have all grown to love and appreciate all of the canyons and experiences we have had together as a family. Working, navigating, and trusting together. Grateful for my dad and how he taught us to appreciate the beauty that god has given us…even when it’s hard and to never give up:)
