I had so much fun creating the scene for this one though, definitely gonna throw it into wallpaper engine and see how pretty it'll look!! I've also already colored in some friend's characters on this base as well so I started to wonder if anybody would be interested in this as a cheap base? 👀 I'm considering it! If you've missed my sporadic posting up until now- long time no see!
I am often asked "where'd you go?" Or some variation of "why did you leave?/why did you stop posting?" And the answer to that is pretty simple, I just needed a break.
The attention that came with my sudden influx of followers via TikTok was of course exciting at first- but unexpectedly and quickly became overwhelming, especially when people started putting their own expectations on me. (And don't even get me started on the CREEPS and STALKERS!) Taking a big step back from social media was exactly what my mental state needed at the time, I couldn't (and still can't) stand being put on a pedestal, I'm just a person!
So even though social media seems to just be getting worse with this AI crap, I really miss the community that comes with sharing content online. I miss being able to share my joy for art and creating things with people from around the world, and with friends I don't get to see on a daily basis! I love getting to see what other people make and I love feeling inspired by other creations I get to see.
That being said if you're still an active follower who I don't personally know, I'm thoroughly impressed you stuck around the last 4+ years and I hope you continue to enjoy seeing what I create. And if you're somehow new here, hello!
I look forward to kicking myself back into the swing of sharing my work, and finding out what everyone's been up to, comments make me feel like I'm actually getting to connect with my audience so that will always be super mega appreciated. ♡
