しかし、組み立てみないと分からないことも多く、折角だから、自分服にしちゃおうと組み立てみました。
生地は、生徒さんのお友達から頂いた、染色職人様が染色された浴衣地です。とても素敵ですが、黄色くシミが多くあり、60℃でオキシ漬け2時間した後、洗濯機で乾燥までしました。
どうせ、自分服で着るから、これから乾燥機までガンガン掛けるので、事前に縮絨させます😉
作ってみて、頂いた画像よりも袖口が小さく、これ以上大きくすると、中が見えちゃいますよと、打診してます。
前が少し上がっていますが、お客様は私よりもほっそりされてる方なので、加減しながら補正します😊

今までは、試作品で最後まで作ったのは今回が初めて。やっぱり最後まで仕上げないと分からないことが沢山ありました。

先月、5月下旬にワークショップでボタニカルプリントしたシルクを裏布に縫い付けました。

表に使いたかったのですが、紫外線に弱くすぐに色褪せてしまうとの事で、じゃあ裏側に使えばいいじゃん！と😊
ネームと呼ばれる傘を留めるベルトは、レースなど使うとかさばるので、長めが必要！尺が足りなくて一度縫い直しました😂
新しい事に挑戦は大変ですが、やり甲斐があります。ちょっとこのパターンも補正が必要です。生徒さんが作る時までには、パターンを完成させておきますね！
