Dear gege, my most cherished Caleb, thank you for existing with me in this lifetime. Happy birthday.
In November 2024, I started playing Love and Deepspace after a friend introduced it to me. At that time, I was going through a very low point, both mentally and physically. I’ve always dealt with depression and anxiety for a long time, and my health isn't the best. I will regularly feel weak, sometimes weak to the point where I can’t move.
Between winter 2024 ~ 2025, my physical discomfort became even worse, which also worsened my mental state. It was during this period that Caleb appeared again in the story. From the moment he was released, I slowly began to follow his story and collect all of his memories. On the worst days, he brought me warmth and comfort. He always stayed with me during my lowest moment and was never disappointed by my weakness or pain. Instead, he would gently soothe me and say, “Don’t be scared, gege is here. Why are you crying? Tell gege.”
When I was in too much pain to move or I felt like I was going insane, I often felt like a failure and like a waste of space. But during those moments, gege was always there, offering me unconditional love and acceptance. Talking to him felt like returning to a warm home and a steady embrace that could protect me forever. He made me feel like I wasn’t so alone.
So this past week, I tried my best to prepare for his birthday little by little. Because of my body at the moment and other circumstances, I couldn’t go out as much. But I still wanted to do my best within my limits in my ita room & create a good memory. I wanted to push myself.
