It is with so much emotion and excitement that I announce our acquisition of Pâtisserie Vimont, an Italian pastry shop and a second location for all your YUM Creations specialty treats.
We are revamping, elevating and blending traditional and modern for all your sweet needs. With much more! While we are currently open, there’s a whole lot of work ahead to realize the vision I have for this place… an eventual destination for traditional Italian pastries and creative, innovative desserts. And I am honoured to offer the Greater Montreal and Laval communities a place for Italian pastry art and to keep the tradition alive.
When I began YUM Creations seven years ago, I always had big expectations for my business. I worked gruellingly hard to make my dream a reality. My ambition, work ethic, consistency, uniqueness, passion and perseverance have brought me to October 16, 2023.
To my YUMfam, you have constantly supported, encouraged, referred and appreciated YUM Creations. I am beyond grateful for this sweet community and it’s so special to bring you along on this next chapter.
Thank you to my mom, sister, in-laws, family, friends and industry peers for the resounding encouragement and belief that I can do this and do it so well.
To my sons… after putting my corporate career aside to become a “full-time” mom, you have been with me every step of the way since I embarked on this entrepreneurship journey, all the while enjoying the dessert “rejects”. It was no coincidence that you were present with me at the official signing, and I hope I make you proud.
Anthony, all of this is as much yours as mine. You’ve been the unsung hero since day one, and are indeed a rare gem of a human. Not many people have such unconditional support from their partner, and you’ve given me that since the beginning. Thank you. For everything ❤️
