Recently, I counted my scars and realized there are quite a few of them. Each one came from a different chapter of my life, and each carries its own story. I never hide them and would never edit them out of my photos. They are part of my journey.

People often say that scars make men look stronger but make women less beautiful. I disagree. When a woman embraces herself and her story, scars become not flaws, but part of her uniqueness and character.

What do you think? Do scars add beauty, take it away, or simply tell a person’s story? Do you have a scar that means something important to you?

If it doesn’t move me, it doesn’t make the set
“Psychologists have to dance like circus monkeys online now to get clients.”
Well.
I dance😎
Just not for clients.
I dance because I love music, my body, and being alive.
And here’s the funny part.
Under this video, people will comment:
“so beautiful,”
“gorgeous,”
“hot,”
all that.

Meanwhile, the people (my beloved clients) whose lives I quietly helped rebuild after breakdowns, panic attacks, burnout, trauma, and years of feeling psychologically lost?
Most of them will say nothing.
Not because they don’t exist.
But because nobody rushes to publicly post:
“this woman basically gave me my life back in six sessions.”
That’s social media.
Beauty gets engagement.
Healing stays private.

And somehow people still think that if you have academic degrees, clinical experience, published research, and years in mental health work, you’re supposed to look exhausted.
Like competence must come with dead eyes and orthopedic shoes.
Why?
Why do people assume that a woman who worked in British psychiatry and studied autism long before it became a trendy internet buzzword can’t also dance, look sensual, or enjoy being seen?
Science happens off-camera.
At 2am.
Behind screens.
Inside research papers, assessments, case notes, nervous system overload, and endless intellectual labour.

And here?
Yes.
Here I’m beautiful.
Alive.
Feminine.
Visible.

Because after spending years inside the depths of the human psyche, I refuse to look like my own burnout.

Being attractive doesn’t cancel intelligence.
Sensuality doesn’t cancel competence.
And dancing definitely doesn’t cancel the fact that I’m very, very good at what I do. #psychologist
Today is my birthday 🎂

And maybe only now, getting older, I’m finally starting to truly understand my parents. Not all of their love was soft, and not all of it made sense to me back then. But they gave me one enormous thing from the very beginning: freedom.

Freedom to think differently. To leave. To begin again. To search for my own world. To not live “the way I’m supposed to.”

And the older I get, the more I realise that freedom is actually how I understand love. I look at people, relationships, cities, work, even happiness through one question: can I still remain myself here?

Maybe this is the real meaning of this birthday for me.
People underestimate movement.
A lot.

When the mind is struggling,
we usually do three things:
scroll,
eat,
or try to numb it somehow.

But your nervous system doesn’t need your analysis.
It needs an exit.
Movement is one of the most powerful natural antidepressants, my dear.
And I’m not speaking metaphorically.
This is biology.

During physical activity, the brain literally shifts modes:
from obsessive inner dialogue
to coordination, breath, balance, and reaction.

And in that moment,
the anxiety loop starts to break.

Same goes for those very “trendy” panic attacks.
Panic is nothing but energy with no outlet.

A meltdown is an overloaded nervous system.
Freeze is a body that doesn’t know what to do next.

So: please, -gym, a walk, the court. Move.

Movement sends a signal to the body:
“we’re alive, we’re acting, we’re not stuck.”

That’s why after a workout
the situation might be the same,
but you are not.

The mind gets quieter. You think clearer.
The body feels more stable.
Your decisions are more grounded.

Sport doesn’t solve your life.
It brings you back to the state
where you can.

and then it becomes impossible not to see it..

В сети завирусился эффект Баадера–Майнхофа, это когда нам кажется, что одни и те же цифры и «знаки» преследуют нас повсюду и что это некое предсказание, а не банальное совпадение.

The Baader–Meinhof phenomenon has recently gone viral. it’s when you start noticing the same numbers or “signs” everywhere and it feels meaningful or even mystical.

I was invited to comment on this as a psychologist for MKRU, where I explain what’s really happening from a psychological perspective, how our brain filters reality and creates this sense of repetition and significance.

If you’re curious about why your mind does this, this article will give you a clear and grounded explanation. 📸
Beach party, mountains, water, silence… and then back into movement.

I don’t really do things halfway.
Not work, not rest, not love.

If I’m there, I’m fully there.
With life, with people, with the moment.

And maybe that’s exactly how it’s meant to be.
Nature: not a background. It’s me
If I matter, - release me.
