"Whispering Tranquility" Sharing one of my favorite images! When I am out in nature, I try to bring back an image that represents where I was. Capturing the feelings, sounds, and essence is really my goal. This Japanese Maple Tree was just glowing in the rain with the sun starting to break through and lighting the green ground and surrounding trees. It was just sitting there so beautiful lit up beaming through. I wanted to get out a chair and sit here for days. The light beams were more focused and the background just glowed around the the red leaves of the Japanese maple. This image looks stunning on the wall and looks amazing any size but I recommend as a 60" x 40" HD Acrylic!

"Late Afternoon along the Na Pali Coast" This is one of my favorite images that is above our fireplace. A collector just purchased a 40” x 60” HD Acrylic face-mounted print so I had to re-share since it has been a while. Let me know what you think?! This was the shot I had been looking for - beautiful green wrinkly cliffs, lush blue water with touches of Kauai red dirt in there. Kauai is a special place as my wife and I had our honeymoon there. Ever since we were there, I knew I wanted to go back and bring part of Kauai for my walls here in California. On a follow-up trip to Kauai, I charted a little R22 2 person helicopter for a private charter to get this image. It was so small my son wanted to know where the rest of the helicopter was! (it is really tight in there and I bumped the control stick a few times while being preoccupied with shooting!) It took about 5 reschedules of the helicopter trip to find the right weather conditions while I was in Kauai - that was the image that I had visualized in my head that I wanted. #kauai #outmywindow #kauaiphotographer #discoverkauai #hawaii
