Some of our deepest moments of surrender are not actually when we face challenges.

It’s when we meet ourselves with softness.

In our surrender I’m grateful to be able to share another two hour yin yoga experience at the next Sunday 25th January from 3-5pm.

This one is all about deepening. Diving to the watery depths, deepening our inner gaze and finding the most expansive void of possibility to carry us forward.

Don’t miss out - I can’t guarantee I’ll be around for more!

Holding on to the hope and the dream that all will in fact be ok.

In fact I know it will. But for a little while I may just stare blankly at a wall while I process a little more.

In the meantime here’s a few things I’ve been pondering just this morning for you to consider…

✨ If what you see shared seems shallow, maybe there’s a reason from the heart that it is. In fact, in so many cases it may be covering up. Don’t forget to reach out, you never know what people are going through or processing beneath the surface. Share some nice words with what shows up on you screens or to people in person in your life, you have no idea how easily it might give them clarity or bring joy and trust.

✨ Not everyone has the capacity to dive deep into their life story on here or in person. I mean, they may not have the ability to even acknowledge what’s been happening in life outside of social media let alone process and prepare it for here. It doesn’t make their experiences any less impactful or important. We all have our own pathways walked.

✨ What you see as bright and beautiful might be the surface layer of an existential exploration that’s not yet complete.

Alas, for all of you reading this feeling overwhelmed by life, like me, the most important thing to remember is contained on slide 11 - or share some words of wisdom below for all.

Lastly, interestingly slide 12 is very aligned with the season I physically and tangibly find myself in so perhaps all of this is an inevitable part of my true nature and seasons.
Slide 1: why am I always so awkward having to look directly at a camera?

Slide 2: no words, literally better to just stay quiet

Slide 3: I do love a good show of Mother Natures anger…

Slide 4: I willingly accept the perils of parenthood (so I keep telling myself anyways)

Slide 5: clearly, if these aren’t a reflection of that love language I don’t know what is

Slide 6: oh the witty comments I missed when I was little that now I understand

Slide 7: lol - it escalates way too quickly

Slide 8: this is my Thursday morning task, to try this on

Slide 9: I have a photographic memory, what can I say?

Slide 10: this is exactly why my 21 Minutes of Yoga for 21 Days exists - try it on, link in bio

Slide 11: no matter where I go in the world it seems the minimum stops is 3…

Slide 12: More on this tomorrow…

Slide 13: we’re both introverts, but we give it a good crack occasionally

Slide 14: apart from the judgment the rest is pretty accurate

Slide 15: also accurate.
2016. 10 years ago.
I was definitely a different kind of bold then.

Tobi and I had a lot of adventures, lots of rolls of film 🎞️ were consumed and developed.

We went between Byron Bay, Noosa, London, the Isle of Wight, I ran a SUPYoga retreat in Croatia, and went to Skyros, Greece to run yoga at their retreat centre for the first time. Tobi and I got engaged in Hossegor, France… I taught at Wanderlust, and my own SUPyoga retreats in Noosa and taught a lot of private workshops and pop up classes by and on the beach.

I was featured in publications and got to share what I loved most about nature and yoga and my connection to it all.

I started teaching more solidly in Noosa again, when the studio opened in November.

We had two engagement parties, one in England, one in Australia to celebrate.

That was the year I turned 27, those final maiden years where I worked full time in a corporate job, was able to take 3 months of leave to travel and explore, come back on another contract and run my yoga business in Australi and international + love on my wonderful man…

That was a lot. But also, can I do it all again now? Maybe I am.
There’s no doubt, when you give, create and live, in a meaningful and conscious way, it always works out.

What we think the “plan” is, doesn’t always end up being the pathway, but with patience and grace it’s possible to see the greatest rewards come from following what’s there irrespective.

To trust is to expect it all.

What’s been your greatest lesson lately, and it’s all worked out? Share it here, write it down, let it remind you of your capacity to trust & lean in.
Honestly though, this one packs a punch.

I couldn’t walk down the stairs without feeling my muscles for at least 3 days after doing this one. It might be short, but I creates heat, strength & energy in the best way possible.

Don’t mistake yoga for something that is all stretchy and softening, make sure you add your Strengthening in too.

Comment YOGA to get access to this & over 130 more practices - with new classes added weekly from beginner to intermediate, meditation to movement, philosophy & asana breakdowns. You get it all in one sweet & strong package.
I can’t even count the number of hours I’ve poured into these two offerings, they may not be perfect but they can definitely pack a punch in the best possible way.

Whether you want a space to come to as and when it need it or something that is part of your day to day life in some way I have two options (& two more coming) to suit all budgets, time constraints, personal needs and more.

And you know the really great thing? You can open your app, type in a word and get given what you want OR if you can’t find it you can message me direct in there and it will go on my list to create for you.

This is the benefit of saying yes, you don’t get lost in an inbox, you get real practices, to use in real time, and a real person to connect with (+ a whole community should you choose to interact on a broader scale).

Anyways, I could go on about it forever, can you tell?

The links are in my bio - always there, and my DM’s are open but can get busy!
Last weeks’ new addition to the studio was a Yin Surrender practice.
