I set myself the intention to bring live sound into my yoga classes this year, so I signed up for classes to learn how to play the violin again

what started as a personal goal evolved into a collaboration with one of my faves who, whilst sat on the floor drinking cacao, said:
“oooo shall we do something together…?”
so we organised our first event.

in July, our summer sacred return event was unleashed
I taught an elemental flow whilst rosie interwove live vocals, percussion, gong and tarot

it was a truly incredible experience

and whilst I played the violin, yes
it was the openness of leaning into the possibility of pathway of this intention that sparked the cocreation of sound with yoga

it was humbling to have yogis attend from so many snippets of my journey so far:

• from my weekly classes at and
• from my retreat in Turkey (one even flew from the Netherlands to make it!)
• from teacher training by in sweden

…connected and inspired, the majority of our tribe spontaneously went for a little drink (and pizza) afterwards; to which the waitress said:
“you look like you’re having such a lovely time can I join too?”

yoga literally translates as union
and running my first event literally filled my heart

it was beautiful, authentic and connected

thank you for cocreating with me
thank you for the amazing venue
thank you to for the journal prompts that sparked my initial intention setting
and to all of you who joined this special event

my next event is Thursday 15th Jan!!

It’s taken me almost a year to post this

bali has always been the place that bubbles and brings to light what I need to work on next in my life

it can feel uncomfortable, like a microphone from my heart is handed over to my mind asking me take action, else it gets louder

when I think back to Bali 11/24 part 2 - i.e. post yoga training - I see clearly now what it all was leading me towards

teaching me that slowing down really is good for me

my fave slow moments included:

• lazing by the pool with Alice
• ambling into cute shops trying on tiny clothes
• releasing movement and my voice at the jungle dance
• reuniting with the tribe at sunrise yoga and the rolling fork
• watching the waves lap the coastline at the girls night beach club
• writing our bali wishes as the sun began to set

it’s true
you don’t need to do everything
nor be everywhere
in fact, the moments your heart wants to remember
come alive when you give yourself time, space and stillness

slowing down creates the pauses
pauses create stillness
in the stillness, you start noticing the reflections
in the reflections, you notice the ripples
amongst the ripples, you find the dance
the beauty of nature
unfolding magic right in front of you
just need to pause and pay attention to experience it

•••

yes bali, you did it again
inviting me to go deeper to rise back higher

om
~ and so it is

I read a poem in my yoga class and it landed so beautifully I’d love to share it with you all - it’s about the sun:

~

I see you, she said
you shine in your sky
you don’t ask for questions
you don’t need to know why
you simply glow and you sparkle
radiating love, light and heat
not always in view yet
inside you’re at peace

…& the song I’m obsessed with just as much as everyone else ✨

thank you summer ☀️🥰

here’s a snippet of photos from June

the month that brought me more than I could ever have imagined

…reading my journal reflections, June helped me connect with nature to start creating my own ripple effects

• exploring stockholm and grinda slowing me down
• shake the dust teacher training cracking me open
• making amazing new friends in my local area simply by leaning in to outdoorsy things (yay) and connecting with friends over paddle boarding, hiking, cycling, running, being outside
• meeting my ♡ and wearing my fave outfit for our first date
• Feeling pure peace and awe simply by watching a bird glide through the sky and realising I can access this wherever I am
• holding a baby blue bird in my hand
• taking a whole day off to lie in the trees
• creating rituals to listen to live music in the park post-class
• saying goodbye to my fave willow tree

when we start leaning into what helps us feel our true authentic selves and act on our instincts, ripple effects start happening

what you want starts unfolding

go get it

leaning in opens you up to new possibilities ✨

I’m leaning in to the answers
opening up in a quest to feel more
trusting what shows up is in truth real in clarity
becoming known in a place I call home.

ps I haven’t had a tan this good since I was 15 (big shout out to paddle boarding on the river this summer in a bikini)

#yogateacher #yogalife #vinyasaflow #yogainstructor #yogapants
I didn’t ever ask for perfection, she said
I just tried to give it my all, making time
showing up from a place of consistency
letting what comes next to begin here aligned
see we can strive for a goal we envisage
but it’s a feeling that in truth we must know
embodying grace gives the release that enables
what we want to naturally unfold

seasons are shifting,
& this is the first poem I’ve written in months (!!?)
it’s getting cooler and days are growing shorter in truth,
yet I feel this is the time to check in
summer had so many possibilities
september is a reset

make time for whatever brings you peace and clarity
for me, that’s writing

what would you love September to hold for you?

I truly believe that everything is aligning, always. ✨

poetic musings:

All I see are the lessons
from the messages I leaned in to expand
from inquiries of self; I won’t block out now
releasing doubts because I know now
I can

🧡

trust your path
trust your journey
