대학병원을 가봐야하나 고민하던 어느 날,
설마하고 집앞에 오랜 경력의 이비인후과 전문의가 하시는
병원에 가보니, 왜 이제 왔냐며

중간고사 첫날. 고3담임 첫 중간고사 조공 기록
매년 화려하게 챙겨줬던 그간의 첫 시험과 달리
부담 한가득 느끼는 고삼이라 고민이 많았다. 그래서 매년 했던
학부모님 응원, 선물 아이디어를 다 제외하고 메시지와 함께
간식만 포장하여 전달했다.
다른 해와 크게 다른 점이라면,
외사랑에 반응하는 학생들이 많아져 기분이 좋았다는 것.
누구 좋으라고 사비로 매년 이렇게 포장을 하고 있는지.
그래도 올해는 꽤나 준비한 보람이 있었다!

1. 양혁준의 위기
우리반 다육이트리오 양이혀기쭈니가 시들시들하다.
선인장이 시들시들한 이유 아시는 분 도와주십쇼.
2. 그루트 입양
좋아하는 사람이 사준 행운목을 교실에 가져다놓았다.
우리반에 행운을 가져다달라고 교탁에 놓고, 눈도 붙여줬다.
어째 교실에 식물이 점점 많아지는 것 같다.
3. 학급대나무숲
3월부터 시작한 학급대나무숲. 시험기간을 앞두고 역시나
기록이 멈춰있다. 종종 시험을 잘 보라는 응원 정도는 남길 줄
알았는데, 역시 고삼의 시험기간은 정신이 없다. 그래도 간간히
그림으로 명맥을 이어가는 중.
4. 다이어트
이렇게 그린 김가은을 탓할 게 아니라 살이 찐 날 탓하자
5. 고3의 시험기간이란
살벌한 것 같으면서도 시험에 익숙한 찌든 영혼들의 시간같다.
내년엔 부디 이 찌듦에서 해방돼서 모두가 원하는 대학에서
꿈을 펼치는 시간을 갖기를.
6. 살아숨쉬는중
그렇게 3,4월을 야근으로 불태워버리고 나서 이제야 슬슬
정시퇴근을 하고 있다. 멈춰졌던 운동, 영어공부도 다시 시작하고,
그간 고민해온 부교재 공유, 바이브코딩 학급운영 및 교과 연구,
그리고 이런저런 대외활동과 자문위원 활동까지.
멈춰놨던 시계를 슬슬 다시 움직여보자.
팔자에 없던 교직 인생 첫 고3담임을 맡게 되었다.
정신없는 한주를 보낸 양센세의 고3담임 1주차 후기
1. 2학년 녀석들과 뜨거운 작별(?)을 했건만,
그들을 그대로 데리고 고3으로 올라오게 됐다. 올해는 303.
가칭 삼땡반으로… 3학년 전체가 구면임에도 불구하고
고3이라는 중압감 때문인지 수업가는 교실마다 참 조용했다.
2. 수업은 마찬가지로 처음 하는 생2와 고1 과학탐구실험.
고3 생2는 교육과정상 1년 하고 버려야하는 눈물의 과목이며,
고1 과탐실은 7년 전 나트륨 폭발 실험의 바로 그 과목이다.
생1 부교재 양바를 눈물로 보낸 올해, 마지막을 멋지게 장식하리라.
(당분간은 수업연구로 메번 골머리를 싸맬 예정이다.)
3. 학급운영 연수로 연초를 바쁘게 보냈음에도 정작,
예민한 고삼이들에게 학급 행사를 많이 할 순 없기에
나름대로 고3 맞춤형 학급운영을 고민중이다. 올해의 경험으로
더욱 성장하는 계기가 되지 않을까?
정리하며❗️
새로운 자극이 필요하던 차, 유예까지 쓴 나에게
정말 엄청나게 새롭고 부담스러운 자극이 올해 찾아왔다.
첫날엔 참 막막했으나 1주차를 보낸 지금 오히려 이런 자극이
나를 바삐 움직이게 하는 원동력임을 깨닫고 매일 고민중이다.
내 고3 시절이 떠올라 더 고양되기도 하고…
마지막 해 예쁜 녀석들을 데리고 올라온 만큼,
주변 능력자 선생님들께 치열하게 배우고 연구하여
나와 그대들이 멋진 이 학교에서의 마침표를 찍길 바라며!
