Hidden gems like this are where you find the best hand-crafted dim sum! We dove into a fantastic assortment of authentic Chinese dishes and a ton of different, mouth-watering dumplings. 🤤

🚨 BUT WAIT! You absolutely must order their Pork Pan-Fried Baos! These things are next level—perfectly crispy on the bottom, soft on top, and loaded with juicy meat and broth. Seriously, you won’t regret making this choice! 🙌

Great views, great snacks.
Kathi Rolls = must try.

I surprisingly have never tried before so when the chance came, I had to try it out! They serve up the most delicious and creative drinks.. like pear and matcha and pear jasmine latte.. like what?? They were some of the most delicious flavour combinations I've had. I even got to try some sweet potato latte which was just perfect for the cold weather... And the aroma was just too good. If you haven't yet, please go! They just opened a new location in Midtown Toronto so if you're in that area, you deserve a little.

Oh.. and a 1L drink is literally $7.99... now that's a really good price!

I remember 🤔 🏡 was the place to get Korean fried chicken 🍗. Its been a couple years ⏳ but some things don't change.

📍5 Glen Cameron Rd, Thornhill
🍛Blazing fire chicken with fried rice
🍟French fries with cheese powder
🍗Soy garlic chicken wings
🍗Sweet and sour boneless chicken
🍗Green onion boneless chicken

My chicken preferences ☝️, for example, remains more or less the same 🤷‍♀️. Soy garlic still reigns supreme 🏆 juicy to the point of overindulgence, dressed in a sweet-salty coat that sticks to your fingers 🤌. And then there was the green onion boneless chicken. A mountain 🏔️ of shredded green onions 🌱piled high like it was trying to hide the meat underneath, or maybe keep it warm. I told myself it counted as vegetables ✅. We branched out to sweet and sour wings 🚨, which looks like the American Chinese 🇺🇸 takeout, super bright red, but here wrapped in the solid, satisfying armor of Korean batter.

We didn’t finish anything 😅, because we were raised with that strange politeness that forbids taking the last piece, as though it’s a landmine 💣.

For carbs, there was fried rice with blazing fire chicken 🔥. Hot enough to make you sweat 💦 and fries 🍟 dusted in cheese powder 🍟, because fries are Switzerland: they get along with everyone. The rice was plain, each grain dry and separate, like it had been fried just for the pleasure of it. No big flavours, but it didn’t need them. The chicken did the talking with its hot 🌶️ and fiery gochujang sauce.

🙏Thank you for being the korean fried chicken that started it all, in my humble opinion.

This hidden spot in North York is serving delicious HK-style cart noodles 🍜!

is located on the first floor inside at #EmpressWalk—and it’s packed with bold, nostalgic Hong Kong flavours 🇭🇰

Fun fact: Cart noodles (車仔麵) date back to 1950s Hong Kong when street vendors sold bowls from pushcarts.

Although there are no push carts at, you still get to customize everything from the noodles, soup base, to toppings!

Here’s what we tried:
🍲 Supreme Bowl (paired w/ Oil Egg Noodle & Braised Beef Brisket Sauce) includes these toppings: abalone, swiss chicken wings, beef tendon, radish, lettuc, pork hock, shrimp wontons, beef tripe, deep fried fish skin… yeah, it’s stacked.
🔥 House Special Bowl (paired w/ Oil Egg Noodle & Braised Beef Brisket Sauce) includes these toppings: abalone, radish, pork intestine, fish ball, pork blood jelly, & beef tendon
