This new staple in the Uptown neighborhood serves craft café bevs and scratch-made food all day (6:30 AM - 6 PM Sunday-Thursday and 7 PM Friday-Saturday)! There’s tons of seating and table space, ranging from cozy low-tops to bar stools to metal chairs outdoors. Remote workers can enjoy password-protected WiFi and some outlet availability at the bar seats and along the back walls (note: none along the window bench seating) 👩💻
My favorites here are the smoked solstice latté (amazing iced & hot) and the cheddar chive scone, but I’m excited to come back soon to try more of the food menu and the new cocktail program launching later this week!
I don’t repeat coffee shops super often, but I tried this one for the first time before Christmas and already came back for a little 2026 goal setting sesh, so that should tell you all you need to know 😉

CAFFEINATE:
- is the most scenic coffee shop I’ve ever been to! Love the dirty chai here
- tried this trip and LOVED it! I recommend the cappuccino and the avocado, bacon, and chili oil on a bagel
- visit (coffee & stationary shop) for a pick-me-up when you’re shopping downtown
SIPS & BITES:
- the avocado marg & bison queso at were SO good
- for an elevated (and stunning) dining experience, check out and don’t skip the steak frites or the lobster mac & cheese
- have a daily happy hour with great drink options! Pair with the sweet potato gnocchi and the Elk striploin
- was incredible! Highly recommend the Jhol momos and the Nepali curry (heads up that the spice levels were higher than I typically see in Colorado)

Every room in this gorgeous 1886 Victorian mansion is equipped with different table & seating options, plus stunning holiday decor that you can take home if you’re in the mood for shopping! The gardens & patio are perfect for an outdoor work sesh on a nice day, although you won’t find outlets unless you’re inside. While the password-protected WiFi sometimes takes a few minutes to connect, I haven’t had any issues once I’m online 👩💻
A full-service café menu is available via the red cart on the patio. I opted for a cappuccino, but if you’re in the mood for something sweet this spot is always serving up fun holiday specials ☕️
Ms. Marji’s is open 6:30-4 daily at 1640 N Logan St! Have you made it into this one yet?
There are tons of lists & maps for this activity online! I recommend perusing the lists and making your own route with a few houses in the same area. The three featured here are all in Littleton / Highlands Ranch!
The showstopper was the famous (for good reason) Hazard’s Gingerbread House (📍10221 S Fairgate Way)! No matter what route you pick, you can’t miss this one 🤩

📍El Piñon, located inside of the recently reimagined motel, serves up tasty coffee & cocktails in a gorgeous, elevated setting. Choose from indoor, outdoor, and even cozy basement-speakeasy-style seating, and enjoy password-protected WiFi and outlet availability (limited upstairs, decent downstairs) while you sip. My flat white was tasty, but the star of the show for me was the “Honey Heatwave” cocktail 🥃
📍Good Bones is a coffee, guitar, and vintage shop with gorgeous natural light and a seriously cool vibe. Shop their curated selection while sipping a perfect cappuccino, and enjoy password-protected WiFi and outlets along the wall if you need to get a little work done. Although it’s on the smaller side, this shop optimizes its space well with 8 small 2-seat round tables 🎸
Please consider supporting shops on Colfax now more than ever! The road construction isn’t easy on surrounding local businesses, and I promise both of these spots are worth the little extra time it might take to find parking or get around closures.

When I first got the offer for my current full time job at a tech firm, I had the option to stay in Austin and work hybrid or work fully remote and move anywhere in the US. I chose to leave my city and coworkers to prioritize the outdoors, my mental health, and new adventures⛰️
Without ever having spent more than 12 hours in Denver, I decided to move across the country seeking better weather, all four seasons, and access to the mountains! Say what you want about transplants, but I made it my mission to explore as many local businesses in my new city as possible (especially during work hours!) and I started to document my visits. Over the past year, I’ve gotten to experience and promote close to 100 local coffee shops and countless restaurants, breweries, festivals, and more, all while exploring the mountains and towns in Colorado as much as I could. Needless to say, I’ve fallen in love with this state and its people and their stories, and I’m endlessly grateful to have this platform to share it all with you guys 🫶
