Getting wispy, thin flames is one of the trickiest effects to achieve with cosplay - This is where Worbla shines in making thin, strong, and organic flames of all shapes and sizes that offers constant forgiveness - don't like the shape or where you attached the flames? Simply reheat it to and adjust
Here's a step-by-step detailed breakdown that you saw in the video above:
1. Take a piece of Worbla that's 1.5x larger than the base piece itself (in this case, the EVA foam flames)
2. Heat the Worbla over the front face of the base piece to let it slowly deform and take on the shape of the base piece underneath. Use the low heat setting, and start by gently warming up the edges of the sheet so they're not stiff, and then start evenly heating from the center of the sheet and work your way out - make sure not heat the sheet enough such that it'll rip apart from its own weight
3. Gently press the warm and now malleable worbla into any cracks and crevices to help take on the shape - for holes, puncture of the worbla and spread it across the surfaces
4. You can work section by section, covering each major part of the base piece with worbla, and slightly overlapping the next piece to make the transitions gapless - if doing so, start from the top and to work your way down
5. The excess Worbla hanging off the side of the base piece can now be gently stretched and pulled apart to create " frayed edges" like flames/wisps! Let the worbla cool upside down to let gravity help create an upwards direction and smooth flow
6. Take smaller scrap pieces of worbla and apply the same heat stretching technique to created frayed edges. Warp the body of the scrap piece to make interesting shapes and let it cool upside down

Today's spotlight is the fantastic, an artist and costume designer who has created some truly inspired looks based on our favourite properties.
