CUSTOM-MADE LEATHER BELTS ON THE SPOT | ONE OF THE BEST GIFTS FROM BARCELONA ✨

Just off la Rambla in Barcelona, has been working with leather since 1941. What started as a supplier for local artisans, shoemakers, and workshops is now also a place where you can walk in and have a custom leather belt made on the spot. You choose the color, the size, and the hardware, and watch as it’s measured, cut, and assembled using techniques passed down through three generations.

The result is a classic, practical piece you’ll actually use, whether as a personal keepsake or a meaningful gift for yourself or a loved one, all while supporting a long-standing local family business in Barcelona.

Everything you need to know before you visit Barcelona 👉🏼

Overtourism is not just a case of numbers. While overtourism is defined as ‘too many tourists’, this is really subjective, because ‘too many’ varies from city to city and even country to country. It depends on the infrastructure, spread of numbers and crucially, the behaviour of the visitors.

Barcelona is struggling at the moment under the sheer weight of visiting tourists so if you are visiting it’s important to try to reduce your impact. It is possible to visit Barcelona responsibly as a respectful tourist by following the tips in this carousel, among others.

If you are a content creator wondering how you can share about your travels more respectfully, check out and ‘s episode of this week about responsible influencer and content creator behaviour. Comment EPISODE and we’ll send you the episode!
