🦐 Saffron Seafood Stew ⭐️
🥩 Steak & Cheese Lavash ⭐️
🍩 Greek Style Doughnuts ⭐️
🍰 Leila Cake ⭐️

Comforting, feel-good Mediterranean plates that don’t make your bank account cry, we love to see it. We started with a selection of small plates, with the Shell-On Tiger Prawns being huge and so satisfying to eat. The Truffled Batatas were super moreish, such a simple dish, but the honey touch really made it. Of course, you’ll have seen that elite cheese pull from the Cheese Manakish… proper good dough. The Octopus & Sujuk Chorizo Skewer was a really interesting combination.

Both mains were standouts, but our absolute favourite had to be the Saffron Seafood Stew, rich, warming, and incredibly fulfilling, especially paired with their fresh bread. The Steak & Cheese Lavash was also a hit, with a great kick and seriously satisfying flavours. And what a way to end the meal with those incredible desserts. The Greek-Style Doughnuts reminded me of the fresh ones you get by the seaside, and the Leila Cake gave major tres leches vibes, so good.

With a great range of cocktails too, including the refreshing and great-looking Mediterranean Sea, this spot is perfect for anything from a casual catch-up to a proper dinner date. Make the most of this insane January-only offer.

🥩 Rendang Daging ⭐️

Having visited Bali for our honeymoon last year, I didn’t have particularly high hopes when it came to the food and flavours, as we were a little let down during our trip, but this place completely shocked us. Every dish here was packed with flavour. The Indonesian satays are an absolute must to start, both the chicken and prawn versions were standouts, but the chicken satay really stole the show with its beautifully marinated spices.

We were seriously impressed with the mains, every single dish we ordered stood out in its own way. The Nasi Goreng tasted far better here than any I had while in Bali, and I really enjoyed it. The Rendang Daging was hands down my favourite dish of the night, the slow-cooked beef was incredibly tender, and the coconut and aromatic spices took it to another level. They also have a great range of desserts, and of course we had to try the banana fritters, a true classic.

The drinks are a must-try too. Make sure you order the Iced Coconut, we loved the flavour. To top it all off, they even offer a complimentary sweet treat and hot drink at the end, which is such a nice touch after a hearty meal. This place is a proper gem and an absolute must-visit ⭐️

🍗🍟 I’ve officially upgraded my kitchen game 🔥 Meet the 3-in-1 Air Fryer, the ultimate kitchen essential I didn’t know I needed until now.

📝

What makes it a total standout? It’s literally three appliances in one, meaning no more clutter and no switching tools mid-recipe. My favourite feature has to be the air fry mode with the sleek glass basket, I can actually see my food cooking, with no need to keep opening and closing it to check if it’s done.

Switching to grill mode, the top grill plate delivers restaurant-style sear marks with juicy interiors. It’s perfect for my gym meals when I want to grill meats and vegetables while keeping things healthy and high-protein. And finally, there’s hot pot mode, from cozy soups to noodles, the included pot makes comfort food completely effortless.

Fast, healthy, and incredibly versatile, this air fryer has officially earned a permanent spot on my counter. If you love easy meals without sacrificing flavour, this is a must have. Who else is ready to cook smarter, not harder? 👀🍽️

🇧🇩 Looking for the perfect winter date night spot in Northampton? 70 One has you covered with their newly opened, cozy outdoor winter pods, intimate, warm, and ideal for a special evening.

📝 Recommendations:
🍗 Butter Chicken Chops ⭐️
🦆 Bengal Tawa Duck ⭐️

We kicked things off with the Butter Chicken Chops, hands down our favourite. Perfectly juicy on the inside and generously coated in a rich, velvety butter chicken sauce that hits all the right notes. Next up were the Tandoori Jinga, massive grilled prawns infused with bold, aromatic spices.

For mains, we tried the Royal Lamb Shank Biriyani, featuring slow-cooked, fall-off-the-bone lamb, proper comfort food. The Bengal Tawa Duck was packed with deep Bengali flavours and cooked to tender perfection. This one really stood out.

The Coconut Kitty mocktail was refreshing with a creamy, tropical twist, almost like a milkshake. Then came dessert heaven 🍫 The Matilda Cake was rich, nostalgic, and intensely chocolatey, while the Sizzling Chocolate Brownie arrived warm and indulgent, though we personally wished it was a little more fudgy.

With its charming winter pods and standout food, 70 One is easily one of Northampton’s must-visit dining spots this season, and a bonus, it’s fully halal! ✨

🍔 SoBe Burger just dropped a Christmas menu, and I couldn’t not try it 🎄🍗

📝

They definitely understood the assignment this Christmas, everything looks and sounds right on theme. First up, the Christmas Turkey Stuffer Burger, juicy patties, festive flavors, and super filling. This one genuinely feels like Christmas in burger form 🤤🍔 I personally loved the touch of the sweet chutney, it really brought everything together.

Then the Christmas Loaded Turkey Bacon Fries… crispy fries loaded with turkey bacon and garlic mayo. And when I say loaded, I mean LOADED 😮‍💨🍟 Messy in the best way. I personally would’ve loved the mayo to be a bit more garlicky, but still a solid dish.

The Snow Cheese Buffalo Wings were spicy, cheesy, and super addictive, could’ve easily eaten a few more 😌🍗 If you’re looking to switch up your usual holiday eats, this menu is definitely worth trying. Comfort food, festive vibes, and serious flavor 🎅✨

🍔 Tried Muncheez recently and it was one of those meals that reminds you exactly why comfort food will always have a special place 🙌🏾 Burgers, wings, shakes, desserts, this place understands the assignment. 🍟 🔥

🍔 Double Chicken Crispy Inferno ⭐️
🍗 Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl ⭐️
🥤 Pistachio Milkshake ⭐️

With such a tempting menu, we decided to try a variety of items to cover all our cravings. We have to say all their burgers stood out for us but the one that was our personal favourite was the Double Crispy Chicken Inferno. Super crispy chicken, bold inferno sauce with the perfect kick of spice, and proper stacked. The Muncheez Burger Cheese Brunch was also a winner, packed with layers and flavours, a proper feast in every bite.

We also tried a selection of their wings, which were well-fried, generously coated, and definitely worth exploring in different flavours. As someone who loves a good Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl, this one did not disappoint at all. It’s a really satisfying meal that fills you up without feeling too heavy, comfort done right.

To finish things off, their desserts and milkshakes were impressive, but the Pistachio Milkshake completely stole the show. Whatever they’re putting in that… I need answers, because I was addicted 😮‍💨

With three branches already open, Muncheez is definitely worth checking out if you’re craving a solid, flavour-packed comfort meal 🔥🍔

🍷🦪 Still recovering from the wildest dining experience of our lives at Punk Royale 😵‍🔥✨ If you think you’ve “done” tasting menus… think again.

📝

From the moment you arrive, they set the tone, phones locked away so you’re fully present (and slightly terrified 👀). No distractions, no spoilers… just you, the table, and whatever course they decide to unleash. And honestly? We’re not even going to get into too much detail about that part 😉

20+ unpredictable courses, each one paired with a carefully curated drink, available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions. Every dish arrives with attitude, theatrics, and a little bit of “Ooo interesting”

Then halfway through… the whole vibe switches. Lights drop, music hits, the energy turns ELECTRIC ⚡️🔥 Suddenly it’s less “fine dining” and more “underground fever dream” in the best way possible.

It’s a whole experience! ✨

At £220pp, would you dare to try it? 😈👇

🇵🇭 If you love Ube, then this place is your heaven! It’s all right here from Ube Martini, to Ube Croissant, to Ube Tsunami Cheesecake and basically anything and everthing Ube flavoured!

🥩 Meat BBQ Platter (£25) ⭐️
🦐 King Prawn Rice Paper Spring Rolls (£9.75)
🥩 Beef Kare Kare (£23.50)
🐑 Lamb Kaldereta (£27.75)
🍚 Garlic Fried Rice (£5)
🧅 Stir Fried Asian Greens (£7.75)
🍮 Ube Tsunami Cheesecake (£8) ⭐️
🍨 Halo Halo
🍹 Weng Weng (£13.50) ⭐️
🍸 Ube Martini (£13.50)

📝

Ever since venturing onto the Filipino cuisine, I’ve been looking forward to exploring more of their food scene so was eager to check out this spot and it did not disappoint! The Meat BBQ platter was unreal, all 3 skewers were of great quality, the chunks of meat were big, juicy and marinated well, would definitely order this again. The rice paper spring roll is light and refreshing but definitely more suited for the summer weather.

Beef Kare Kare had a trio of beef options where our favourite was most likely the slow braised short rib. Beef lovers, this dish is for you! Lamb Kaldereta had succulent lamb cutlets which was great to have along with the sides we had ordered. Cocktails were both great and I was really looking forward to the Ube Martini which was tasty but would have preferred a stronger Ube flavour as the coconut was slightly overpowering. Weng Weng was delicious, would order this again.

Now look at that Ube Tsunami Cheesecake! Not only does this come out looking like an absolute treat with its theatrics, it also tasted fantastic. Service from Josh was top notch, he was funny, smiley and efficient. Make sure to visit their bakery section too as they have some treats there like Ube Croissant. Would definitely come back here on a different occasion!
