On Tuesday 19 May, the Friends of Westminster Cathedral will host a fascinating and light-hearted evening with two of Britainโs most distinguished public servants; The Rt Hon the Lord Butler of Brockwell and The Rt Hon the Baroness Shephard of Northwold, in a candid reflection on decades at the heart of British politics.
Lord Butler was former Cabinet Secretary, Head of the Civil Service, and Private Secretary to five Prime Ministers.
Baroness Shephard, held four posts in John Majorโs Cabinet including Secretary of State for Education, and is the author of โThe Real Iron Ladyโ.
