This first session involved dropping off a few pieces I had stored away for her before taking out every last piece of decor she has been collecting for the last 7 years. She has fabulous taste, which makes my job all that much easier!

I’m Kelly— a 33 year old woman, wife, and mother living in West Palm Beach, Florida. I was born and raised in Massachusetts, a place steeped in rich history and battered by brutal weather, which I like to think shaped my character and sparked my love for old things. My husband is from Rhode Island, so New England still calls us back often to spend time with friends and family. I’m endlessly proud of my home state and love any chance to talk about it with other transplants I meet down here in Florida.
I’ve been sober for nine years, and putting down alcohol gave me a life beyond my wildest dreams. Starting my life over here in Florida means that this place represents so much more to me than just warm ocean water and sunshine, it’s the foundation of an entirely new chapter. My love for Florida runs deep.
My career in interior design unfolded organically after we bought our house at the height of COVID. I’ve been a creative my whole life, an artist and painter growing up, then a makeup artist in NYC in my early twenties. I’ve always had a strong sense of style, so when we began renovating our home, I knew exactly the look and feel I wanted.
But at eight months pregnant, I found myself dealing with fraudulent contractors and terrible subs, left to project-manage and put out countless fires. I remember sobbing daily as we lost money and my vision slipped further away. At the time, I couldn’t understand why I was being tested like that, but now I know. It was the beginning.
I don’t fit the perfect “Palm Beach” mold, in either my personal style or my design work. If you’re here for perfection, you’ll be sorely disappointed! I love disrupting the norm and weaving individuality, character, and a touch of quirkiness into my projects— both my own and my clients.
