동료들과 함께 기술을 논의하고, 주말도 반납한 채 연습하고, 작업하고, 배우며 그 시간을 온전히 성장의 밑거름으로 삼았다.

영국에서 미용을 시작해 현지 미용실 인턴으로 일하면서,
이후 ‘비달 사순(Vidal Sassoon)’에 들어가 1년 동안 진행된 직원 교육 과정을 마쳤다.
그 시기는 참으로 치열하고 고된 시간이었지만, 돌이켜보면 그 모든 경험이
내 미용 인생을 단단히 받쳐주는 토대가 되었다.

지금의 나를 뛰어넘는 기술을 얻고 싶다면
그만큼 자신을 뛰어넘는 희생도 필요하다는 것을….
