This season feels new… unfamiliar… and honestly, lonely some days.
But I’m choosing to trust myself the way she trusts me.
We’re learning courage together 🤍
Because motherhood didn’t end my becoming — it expanded it.
Hi 👋🏽

Living here has allowed me to learn the traditions more deeply — the meaning behind the lights, the prayers, the sweets, the togetherness. And now, I get to share that with my husband and children, teaching them about where I come from and the cultural joy that I grew up on the edges of, but never fully practiced.
What makes it even more special is experiencing it as part of a global community — expats, locals, friends from everywhere — all celebrating side by side. There’s something uniquely Indian about how festivals are shared here. The doors stay open, the joy spills outward, and everyone is invited.
For me, Diwali has become a celebration of heritage, identity, learning, and belonging — a reminder that it’s never too late to reconnect with your culture and pass it forward. 🕯️🌍💛

For me it will be chappals any day.. or night 😅
I spent my entire youth and that awkward bit before marriage and kids wearing high heels on every dance floor 💃🏽 but now I’m wiser and comfort first please 🙏🏽
Totally loving these Kohlapuri style chappals from they are such an updated modern way to wear something traditional and add that desi flavour to my outfit ✨ style and comfort? Who would have guessed?!
The orange coloured ones are on my radar too 🫶🏽
Tell me, have you ever worn chappals on a night out? Well I just did! 👌🏽

Sometimes all it takes is a pop of colour against my everyday neutrals to completely shift my mindset. As a busy mother juggling work and home life, I find that those bright accents instantly make me feel more positive, uplifted, and energised—it’s like wearable motivation.
And one of the prints I’ve always been drawn to is Ikat. I first discovered it in my 20s on a fashion trip to Delhi, while working in the Selfridges buying office in London. It’s stuck with me ever since.
What makes Ikat so special is its artistry. Unlike most fabrics, the threads are dyed before being woven—an incredibly intricate process where patterns are mapped and dyed onto the yarns in advance. The weaver then carefully aligns each strand, creating those beautiful blurred edges that make Ikat instantly recognisable. This method is centuries old and practiced in cultures across India, Indonesia, and Central Asia, each with its own unique style and symbolism.
For me, wearing Ikat is more than just adding colour—it’s carrying a piece of history and craftsmanship that reminds me of the joy of discovery and the energy of creativity. ✨

I fell head over heels for the Tory Burch collection at New York Fashion Week—every look radiated effortless sophistication. The bold yet refined colour palette sparked my inspiration, leading me to craft a globally blended aesthetic that fuses Eastern elegance with Western modernity. 🌍 From vibrant tones to minimal silhouettes, this “East meets West” look celebrates cultural harmony in style.

In 2018, I made the move from London to Bangalore - a shift that changed everything: my mindset, my personal style, and ultimately, my purpose.
As a British-born South Asian woman, I thought I knew India. But I quickly realised this country had so much more to teach me- about culture, community, and most of all, about myself.
Moving here was exciting, overwhelming, and deeply humbling. I didn’t know where to start- but fashion gave me a path forward.
Through curating fashion events, styling individuals, and hosting my Style Discovery + Confidence Boost Masterclasses, I found my calling:
Creating spaces where women feel seen, connected, and celebrated- through style.
These workshops are more than just about what to wear. They’re safe spaces for women navigating a new city, a new culture, or even a new version of themselves. It’s about self-expression, confidence, and community- something I craved when I first arrived.
Today, I’m proud to say I’ve built a tribe of women from around the world who are not just discovering their personal style- but also their inner strength.
This journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been so worth it.
Come connect with me at my next masterclass and let’s grow together 💫

A real full circle moment for me
Back when I worked in the womenswear buying office at Selfridges, I used to spend my lunch breaks wandering through the store - always stopping to admire the Amrapali jewelry section. It felt less like shopping and more like a moment of cultural connection.. a little slice of India’s richness, right there in the heart of London 🫶🏽
So getting to host a Styling Masterclass & Personal Shopping Experience at the Amrapali Boutique in Bangalore was honestly so special. To partner with one of my all-time favourite Indian jewelry brands, now here in the country my heritage is rooted in, and bring together a beautiful group of women to talk style, culture, and self-expression - it meant so much.
It wasn’t just about jewelry - it was about identity, belonging, and reconnecting in a way that felt both familiar and new ✨

Their flagship store is an ode to Indian Heritage & Culture, which was celebrated with a Kathakali performance at the event and I had the pleasure of meeting the maestro himself! Congrats and on a spectacular store launch!
