where at the bottom of the last, and tallest, waterfall of them all you can find 📍Odaru Onsen
These unique hot springs are part of the Amagiso Resort property. Unfortunately the hotel itself burnt down a couple of years ago so you currently can not stay or make the most of free onsen entry that would come with it
BUT for those that thought my tattoo-friendly Tokyo Onsen Hotel rec was too expensive, luckily, onsen day passes are still available here for only ¥1000/$10!
These are co-ed baths so you keep your swimsuit on.
It’s a bonus that the ladies change room had a mini dryer for when you take them off afterwards!
i must warn you AGAIN that the walk down is very steep and slippery so while it may be more accessible in some ways it is not in many others.
