It’s been a whirlwind of a blue marlin season so far, and I’m finally getting around to sharing some highlights from my recent trip to Walker’s Cay for the Walker’s Cay Invitational.
For generations, Walker’s Cay has been one of the most iconic destinations in offshore sportfishing. Since reopening the island, Carl and Gigi Allen have worked to restore the legacy that made Walker’s Cay famous.
Here are a few selects from Day 1 as teams rolled into Walker’s Cay from all over, whether by sporty or by plane, gathering for another week of world-class fishing at one of the sport’s most historic destinations.
