My love affair with fragrance started young β I loved to explore my grandmother's beautiful perfume bottles, carefully pulling out each stopper to discover the magic inside. That's me, with her on the beach in west Wales (part of the inspo for my Coast fragrance, but that's another story).
Fast forward through a chemistry set at ten, an award-winning pharma career, and a life-changing article in a chemistry magazine... and here I am, a Paris trained perfumer, founder of Wales Perfumery.
These days I split my time between creating fragrances inspired by Welsh nature and history, teaching perfumery workshops, and indulging my love of fragrance in some of the most wonderful places in the world - Paris, obviously, top of the list!
Being independent means I get to follow my nose wherever it takes me β whether that's into the Welsh landscape, historical stories, or just whatever's fascinating me right now.
