I've been dreaming about skydiving for years but even the thought of it gave me anxiety - my heart would start beating really fast, my body would get tense and my palms would start sweating... In the last two months I managed to work through my fear and make peace with the idea of jumping out of airplane!✈️🧘🏼♀️
What helped me the most was reframing my mindset from falling to ✨flying.✨Another big thing was visualising the whole process step by step in my head. At one point it just felt like I had already done it which felt very calming.
So on the day of the jump I managed to feel carefree and excited. Of course I was a little bit nervous but I had no anxiety. And the whole experience happened exactly how I had imagined in my head. 😅🪂💯
After facing one of my biggest fears, I'm feeling more liberated, thrilled and ecstatic than ever!
So I guess the question is, what's next? 👀
