We understand this is not welcome news due to the closure for FIFA on May 25th, however, the film company has been working in good faith with the community to minimize the impact and give back.

Hastings Skatepark will be closed May 18-23 for filming.

Sat, May 23rd will be the last day of filming at Hastings by film company. The skatepark will be open in the late afternoon/early evening.

The film company will have lights stay at Hastings Skatepark for night skating until Sun, May 24.

A Hastings Skateboard Celebration is being planned for the evening of Sat, May 23rd. It will include BBQ, community skate jam, and music. Free parking for skaters provided by the PNE.

The film company has donated a full size half pipe (from the film set) for the skateboard community. The half pipe will be located in the Sea to Sky Corridor and access for the community will be managed by Canada Skateboard and Ramptime Production. Please reach out to directly for more info. Along with the donation, the film company has as well donated $1,000 towards to the Hastings Skateboard Celebration and $3,000 for community skateboard programming by the.

We kindly ask that the community remain respectful and courteous to the film company while the skatepark is closed and they are filming.
