we all know and love this spot for their fab coffee creations but let’s talk about their cookies! she’s thick, she’s cakey, she’s soft, and there are hints of flakey salt so you know she’s ✨elevated✨ haven’t seen them in a while but I LOVE their double chip cookies (chocolate chips AND potato chips)

at this point it should be obvious how much I love this shrimp burger 😂 it mimics the famous Ebi Katsu Burger from 🍤 only it’s thicker shrimp patty with double the sauce. personally I love sauces so this is great for me

one of my fav places ever has a tom yum flavored fried chicken sando and it is just as good as it looks. served on a brioche bun with daikon and a spicy tom yum sauce. divine 🌶️
think of this as an Indian grilled cheese. I love paneer (Indian cottage cheese) and its firm and spongy texture. def worth checking out if you’ve never had anything like this, and it’s guaranteed to be tasty 🇮🇳
now for the incredible Scallion Pancake Cheeseburger. couldn’t decide on the soy aioli or spicy ketchup so I got both and I strongly encourage everyone to do the same. she is piping hot, juicy, and flavorful. the burger itself is great but with the aromas from the scallion pancake “bun”?? superb
do I wish there were more things that exist on this list? absolutely!! there were some I wanted to include but haven’t gone to like the bao burger from
occasionally has delicious Viet style lobster rolls but my favorite version currently isn’t on the menu

Day 8 of 12 Days of Winter Treats Around Boston🍦❄️
it sounded so good I literally trooped in the cold for it. their January swirl is hot cocoa and marshmallow twist and it is as fabulous as it sounds. def add the minty cocoa crunch it is worth the extra $1!!!!
get it before the month ends, but I’ll be looking forward to the February flavor hehe. I love that they have rotational flavors every month, so you can get your sweet treat during any time of the year
they also have incredible sandwiches that I’m dying to try, but that’ll be for next time 🥪

if you need a sign to book those tickets to Vietnam, this is it❣️ I swear that’s the hardest part (and most expensive:p)
but once you’re there, you’re going to eat the best food, meet the kindest people, and have the time of your life 😭😭😭😭 the shopping is also incredible
everything is super affordable (to us) and you’re going to receive some of the best hospitality you’ll ever experience. Vietnamese people are some of the most hardworking people I know and they love sharing their culture

I had a very okay experience when I went here the first time, but I’m glad that didn’t stop me from coming here again because this was a meal I’d go back to 100%!!
the first time I went, I waited 45 minutes for XLB (it was not busy at all), and it was lukewarm 🙃 I was already hesitant to go back
but after they received their Michelin recognition, it was time to vamp things up. it was PACKED when I went again, and for good reason
you’ll see every other table order the Ice-Boiled Lamb Hotpot, which is a method that helps retain the tenderness from the lamb 🧊🍲 as the ice melts, it brings the broth to a boil and all the flavors come together
it comes with a sesame sauce that I used for everything because I loveeee sesame sauce
but that’s not the only thing to get here! everything else we ordered were all hits. the rest of our order:
- Shanghai bok choy with oyster sauce
- Cold preserved cucumber salad
- Mala beef tendon
- Barbecue beef skewers
- Barbecue lamb skewers (not gamey at all!
- Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup
- Sliced Beef in Golden Sour & Pepper Broth (tastes like a single serving hotpot I love it)
- Kumquat lemonade!!!!
I would honestly order the same exact things 🍜 highly recommend going with a group because it’s the best way to try more things and help figure out what you like!

serves authentic Haitian food, offering a variety of options. when I say variety, I mean they got vegan and vegetarian options….gluten free options….AND halal option too
they have a simple menu to choose from for the lunch deal, or you can get a bigger plate with some special premium options for $13.99 (a great portion)
here’s what we ordered:
- Halal Stew Chicken + Rice & Beans ($7.99)
- Fried Chicken + Plantains ($7.99)
- Stewed Turkey with Haitian Black Rice and Baked Mac and Cheese ($13.99), again noting that this was basically 2x the size and you can pick from specialty menu items!!
they all come with pikliz which is Haitian pickled veggies. I LOVE bc it was very vinegary and spicy. I needed it with every bite
also it was my first time and the regulars there were so nice and kept hyping up the food, which to me is a beautiful sign that is well loved 🥹

this is my second time in York, first time with and I cannot believe how gorgeous and special this location is. imagine waking up every morning to a sunrise view of the Nubble Lighthouse. even with the snow, it was an incredible view, and the magic at doesn’t stop there
they introduced “The Baths” back in the fall, where every guest has complimentary access to a Canadian cedar sauna and hot tub. they are about to introduce their cold plunge which I think will be a huge perk for the warmer season! we absolutely loved the sauna, and it was perfect with the cool March weather (and perfect after a meal at and a gym sesh!). seriously loved the stones, and it wasn’t too busy that it felt like it was a private sauna to ourselves!! if you want to relax some more, you can also go to their spa and book a massage. much more to come now that it’s getting warmer too (like borrowing their bikes for a ride along the beach!!)
we did take-out for dinner with some local favorites and spent the night in, which was made super easy because their Grand Boutique Suites have a full kitchen (so ideal for groups). if you’re looking for a romantic getaway, book the Deluxe Shoreside Rooms no questions asked. everything about it was so serene. the shower was my favorite part (iykyk)
will share more deets in my “York, Maine” highlights soon 🫶🏼 is just around an hour from Boston, so you can easily make a trip out of this. they really take special care of their guests- go to their website and see a full list of their complimentary amenities and room details❣️I can’t imagine a better place to stay in York, you’re going to love it

Fenway has SO many fun spots where you can snack and hop around. I went to school in this area and there’s been many great additions on top of the spots that have been here for a while. recently brought my cousin that was visiting and tried multiple spots, deets ⤵️

before any one comes at me yes this Brookline but borderline Fenway okay 😭 one of my fav bakeries in the Boston area. it’s a French + Japanese bakery that has the cutest pastries. staple will always be the Strawberry Ichigo Cream and Matcha Azuki Cream❣️also ft. Jiji (chocolate raspberry!). not included in reel (but we did order it 🤭) is their Curry Pan!!!! SO GOOD, and my other staple item!

then we took a nice short walk for Vietnamese coffee ☕️ I love the little green oasis when stepping inside!! I tried their new coconut water + ube cream drink which was refreshing and just what I needed, we got a couple of egg foam coffees (my sister said it could be more strong in Viet coffee flavor), and my friend got the Iced Saigonese which we all collectively loved- Viet coffee with sea salt cold foam 🤍
📍Shanghai Pan-Fried Buns
where to get the most authentic (outside of Asia) pan-fried buns 🥟 they are made in big batches, but they are gone FAST, so you usually have to wait for a new cycle once you order them (15-20 mins). we also got the Braised Pork Chop Noodle Soup which has an amazing pork chop, which is where a lot of the flavor comes from. a good dish to eat while waiting for the buns!!

another fav spot in the area for their matcha ice cream or just soft serve in general🍦can’t go wrong with a classic matcha + ube twist. their hojicha + strawb twist and croffles are a fav too 🍓 cone option is same price, but I paid a bit extra for the purple ube cone 💜
