announces his new album ‘Born in Ukraine - 150 Years of Ukrainian Music’, tracing a musical path from Lysenko, Bortkiewicz and Leontovych to Silvestrov, Shor and Kyianytsia.
Joined by three young Ukrainian pianists - Alina Pronina, and - Hope describes the album as “a journey into Ukrainian musical identity”, shaped by lyricism, nostalgia, exile, hope and quiet resilience.
Featuring two world premiere recordings, ‘Born in Ukraine’ brings together 150 years of extraordinary Ukrainian musical voices - music of lyricism, longing, resilience and hope. The album will be released digitally and on CD on 6 November 2026.
