Honored to present my first solo exhibition in Miami, in dialogue with and, under the curatorship of Alexei Waichenberg.
In this exhibition, I dive into the language of cinema to translate it into painting: six films from the festival have taken shape on canvas, revealing not only images, but also atmospheres, emotions, and silences.
It is a crossing of boundaries — between the frame and the brushstroke, light and color, the filmmaker’s gaze and the artist’s eye.
More than portraying, I sought to listen to each film and return it in the form of painting — as one who writes a critique not with words, but with gestures, textures, and pigments.
