Idag är det tydligen exakt åtta år sedan vi skrev på kontraktet och blev husägare. Är lika förälskad i huset nu som då. Detta firas med en bild från idag - ljuvligt väder ju! ☀️
Såhär välstädad har min trädgårdsverkstad inte varit på väääldigt länge. Vintertid agerar den förvaringsutrymme till diverse krukor, dahliaknölar, trädgårdsmöbler och annan brôte (som det heter på dalsländska). I år hade jag tänkt att direktså det mesta och även hoppa över förodlingen av dahliorna. Men då flödet svämmar över med dahliaknölar som förodlas i plastpåsar så börjar det klia lite (läs mycket) i fingrarna. Även lite stress/ångest kryper sig på över att jag inte är lika ”duktig” som alla andra. Men med en bebis på fyra månader och en väldigt aktiv (snart) fyraåring så är tiden och framförallt orken knapp. Det får bli som det blir med trädgårdsåret 2024. Sommar blir det oavsett. Och dahliorna kommer blomma vare sig jag förodlar dem eller sätter knölarna direkt i rabatten. Over and out.

Jaha, tänker ni, ännu en bild på en Café au Lait - men icke sa Nicke! Låt mig presentera Café de Paris. En ny bekantskap (iaf för mig) med samma ljuvliga färg som den omåttligt populära Café au Lait, men detta är en kaktusdahlia/semi-kaktus. Kom över en knöl på begagnatmarknaden i våras och den var såpass stor att den gick att dela i två - vilken lycka! 🤗 Rekommenderas starkt!
