We were blessed with the most incredible warm sunshine all day long – the kind that makes everything glow and just adds that extra bit of magic ☀️
There were so many special moments… from their gorgeous dogs being part of the table plan (some of which I had photographed 🐾), to the most emotional surprise of all – Linzi’s grandad Dennis, who is 94, arriving as a complete surprise. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room for that one 🤍
Linzi & Jay were an absolute joy to photograph – so relaxed, so happy, and totally up for making the most of every moment together. We made good use of the lake, the stunning magnolia tree and daffodils within the grounds.
The speeches were brilliant too – huge shoutout to Linzi’s dad, best man Johnny, and Jay himself for bringing the perfect mix of laughter and heartfelt moments 🎤
We ended the day with sparklers ✨ and something I’ve been so excited to try for a while… a Bridgerton-style composite shot (and honestly, I loved doing this!). I used the beautiful Carew Room at Crowcombe Court, which is such an underused gem in the venue.
And of course, I was surrounded by the most amazing team including my first time working with Yalham Hayes -

At Christmas, I’m reminded how important it is to embrace our inner child (yes, that is an AI-generated photo of me cuddling me as a child!). The younger version of us that laughed freely, loved deeply, and found joy in the simplest moments.
