We know that when it comes to GOD, time is viewed differently and we also know that we are not told the day nor the hour when JESUS will return. But we are told to watch and pray
We are told to be vigilant and ready
We are told to set our eyes on things above
We are told to live in this world and not be of this world
We are told that where our treasure is, is where our heart will be
We are told that we are pilgrims on this earth and this is not our home.
We are told to be like the wise virgins expecting our bridegroom.
From everything we are told from the scriptures, we are basically asked to live on this earth DETACHED. We are not saying do nothing with our lives because we are detached, we will archive things and it is good to but trust me, they won’t matter when the end comes
Whilst we achieve the milestones, build the house, do the marriage, have the contract, have the babies, buy the land, buy the bone straight, buy the new car, be a gym freak, start that new business, have the influence, be famous, use the gift l, travel the world 🌍 etc, we must not be so attached to them that we forget our souls!
What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose His soul!
We must pay attention to our soul because when That day of THE LORD comes, nothing else will matter, everything I mean everything else will fade away, it will be just us with our maker..
We must seek first the kingdom of GOD and HIS righteousness! We cannot flip the order!
JESUS CHRIST OUR BRIDEGROOM is coming soon! We can’t get into the posture of saying, “they have been saying HE is coming, HE is coming, when will he even come sef” We can’t be weary in well doing and our strength cannot fail when it matters the most!
We can’t be carried away with what we will eat, what we will wear, cares of life! May we not be caught unaware!
