My journey to Paris has been incredibly challenging. I took the responsibility to change things, trusting that I knew what was best for me. I asked my coach to believe in a different path — one that was often lonely and unknown— while I searched for a new balance where happiness could be a key part of the journey. I can’t express how grateful I am to those who believed in this process, especially my coach,, and my team,. There’s a huge difference between loneliness and being alone, and I know I wasn’t alone in this.
I also want to speak about the joy that led me to this podium. Realizing that I wanted to share this experience with the people I love changed everything — from my preparation to how I felt during the race. I approached the starting line with a smile, happy to be there and ready to share that love. Throughout the race, I was fueled by the collective love and joy we shared. When I crossed the finish line, I cried because I had achieved something that once seemed impossible. It was a powerful, beautiful relief.
Thank you to all the friends who came to Paris to share this magical day with me. Thank you to everyone who supported me through this incredible journey.
