Hard to believe that the first leg of the *Mountains of Glass* Tour is already several weeks behind us. We wrapped up a fantastic time with the sold-out show in Berlin. It was special in so many ways, but above all, the good moments we shared will stay with us. And that doesn’t just mean the team - Felix, Matthias, Yannek, Sebastian, and Alex - but everyone who was part of these evenings. It felt like a free run through questions, thoughts, trust, freedom, and a lust for life. This tour wasn’t just a promise to those of you who were there, but also to ourselves – and we hoped we could all keep it together. In the end, it turned out to be so much more. We’ve taken many new ideas and inspirations from these moments and brought them to life. Let’s find out where they’ll lead us! Thank you, and we can’t wait to stop at the next stations next year – and experience what awaits us all.

SOLD OUT👀👀 The Berlin show of the first journey through the Mountains of Glass is sold out. I’m obviously happy about that – but what excites me even more is the thought of not being alone again next Friday, of sharing something with each and every one of you in the room: to release what’s trying to find its way out from within of each of us, and decide whether to experience it physically, emotionally, to understand something – or none of that at all.

For me, community isn’t the answer to everything, but it is a great relief – when it’s sincere, with no hidden agenda, no expectation of how we should reflect each other, no checklist of flaws to fill in, no social roles, no passing on of responsibility, no fear of our own feelings and needs, no assigning of guilt or weight, no judgment, with gratitude for the path that brought us here and excitement for what’s to come. That’s what I’ve experienced in these past shows, and I thank you for that! Special thanks also to 🍀🙏🙌🏻

The clubs of the tour aren’t huge arenas, but maybe that’s exactly what makes them a special space for this kind of experience. Let the music speak. I’m grateful for each and every one of you – whether it’s sold out or not. And now, I’m practicing being proud that this Friday is going to be a wonderful night. See you there!

🙌🏻🍎Live in Concert - October - MUC, ZRH, HAM, MUC, BER (Tickets in bio)

I’m excited to introduce my special guest, straight from the tour rehearsals: my good friend and talented Hasardeur,. It’s an absolute honor to have him join me on this journey through Mountains of Glass. What excites me most is the joy we’ll share by fully integrating him into the show, rather than just having him as a typical support act. I deeply believe that when the opportunity arises to create something together, it makes all the difference. Prepping for these shows with him has been nothing short of magical. Massive respect, man – I can’t wait. And what about YOU? Will we see you at one of the shows? It would be an absolute pleasure! Sending our best to all of you, grab your tickets if this speaks to you.

(About the track: It came together naturally while we were working on something to share with you and to give Yannek a shout-out. “SING SING”... Lately, I’ve had to face some challenges, as we all do now and then. I guess that’s life, but it doesn’t make it any easier. While I could think about things logically, my emotions get stuck more often than not, surfacing whenever they want to. Reflecting on the tracks I’ve created over the years, including those for the upcoming album, I’ve noticed that the music often knew what I was going through before I did. The music understood before I did... and that’s what this track is all about. Honestly, I don’t have the answers – but the music does.❤️…good thing🤪)

Thank you Nowi🎥
Live in Concert - „MOUNTAINS OF GLASS“ TOUR 2024
München, Zürich, Wien, Berlin, Hamburg - Tickets in bio

This tour is going to be a free climb. I’m not going to lead us somewhere on this trip because I know we will get there together. These shows are prepared to be one-of-a-kind nights, meaning that I hope for nothing more than to share the place, the vibes, and togetherness with you and to create something personal out of it. I’m sharing my new album and tracks as a map; the rest is on us, on you.

The tour title is the headline of all the future works of this next chapter and the name of the upcoming album. Hardly seen or seen through obstacles, the chance to glimpse what lies beyond, the inner and external strength, the support, the health, the belief (and too often: money…) we all need to overcome the challenges we try to face. The safety, the limitation. The dreams, the breathtaking views, the risks: „MOUNTAINS OF GLASS“.

For me, these times are about embracing the complexity of our world and minds. Instead of trying to flatten or simplify our experiences, we should appreciate and cherish them for the richness they bring, even if they are a challenge in themselves.

So here is my offer: Let’s find the energy and intimacy only a live music club can offer, let’s get together and see where it leads us. This is not me, it’s us. Let’s share some analog feels and that kind of electronic club culture we’ll create together that night. I’ll bring some beloved instruments and tracks, friends, and some light. Hope to see you there!
🌗“You Said No" - this song explores the paradox of the word "no," a symbol of both relief and limitation. It acknowledges the freedom found in understanding, whether in relationships or other aspects of life; in fact, this is how it has always felt to me. "No" signifies both an end and a beginning, creating a boundary while also opening new horizons. This track delves into the liberation embedded in this realization, hinting at unknown futures. It's like a walk in the dark, with the promise of dawn not far off.

Matthias Biermann's contribution to this piece has been invaluable, adding the precise level of consciousness needed to convey the origin of the emotion - thank you, man! Looking forward to our future works, can't wait.

Thank you so much for all the support we received on this one.

A huge thanks to Sarah & Victor/ for bringing the release to the people.🙌🏻🙏🙌🏻
👥👥👥“No Thoughts but Symptoms - cause my thoughts are with you…” After releasing the ‘You Said No’ EP last Friday, it was quite an experience for me to listen to the tracks in a row again. Ultimately, it’s all about communication... all the questions posed in them, and the fantasies about what the other person is thinking, wondering, and asking. Often, it feels like we’re missing that specific part of empathy needed to get things right - and that’s perhaps why we lose active thinking and become emotionally detached. In the end, it turns out to be more physical than we might think. There are so many symptoms of misunderstanding… To me, the answer to this couldn’t be to become more centered in ourselves. I believe traditions and rituals are good ways to step back from our own needs, spend time, and subsequently, develop an interest in each other again. For some of you, Christmas might be a great opportunity to find a way back to shared thoughts and feelings. But every cultural context has its moments in the ongoing flow of time. Let’s appreciate these moments and take them seriously. What we make out of them is important - at least they offer a prepared chance. All the best to all of you🙌🏻🙏

…🎥🎤🎹thank you Markus - for running through the ongoing loops with me🙏
🙏👥👣 Maureen…This piece isn’t about just one relationship but is a tapestry of emotions and encounters that have been my pillars through time. It’s a delve into the evolution of friendships, the ones still holding and the ones lost in transition. It explores how swiftly we can lose connections in our pursuit to become “ourselves”, a concept I find more reflective than definitive.

There are times it seems overwhelming, akin to losing a heritage. I surmise that such moments might lead to self-questioning later in life. Did we maintain the bonds we should have? My realization is, without knowing my roots, I couldn’t be the anchor my friends needed, and vice versa. It’s also a narrative of forgiveness, disappointments, and the complexity inherent in our emotions.

I can’t pinpoint the when and how, but the feelings persist, intricate yet profoundly simple.

Check the link in my bio for listening. And say hello to my new live Drummer. This Version was recorded while rehearsing for the live premiere of the track, thanks again for the invitation🙌🏻🙏
🫲🫱You said no —— Some time back, I had a creative session with my dear friend - and in the midst of it all, I tapped into that skill I discovered way back. Skipping school, I’d lose myself to the rhythms that echoed in my ears, replicating them in what I later found out was called ‚beatboxing‘. Once, it caused me trouble; now, it’s an intuitive tool when crafting „the beat“…Admittedly, I had my doubts—this kind of beatboxing didn’t align with the typical standards (check the throat bass drum🤪). But thanks to, we’ve finally stuck with it. The track is on its finish line, and we are looking forward to sharing it with you.

Sometimes, ‚no‘ isn’t the end but the beginning of discovery. There’s so much to reflect upon in it. What are your moments of „no“ that led to something more?

P.S. Catch me in Novi Sad next Saturday! I’ll be participating in the Kaleidoscope of Culture program and I can’t wait! Hope to see you there. 🎶
