This hand-sculpted raccoon cake was inspired by these beautiful night wanderers and the tenderness people rarely get to see.
I also volunteer at a local wildlife rehabilitation center, and baby season has given me an entirely different perspective on these animals. Watching exhausted rehabilitators spend countless sleepless hours feeding orphaned babies, treating injuries, and fighting for their lives has honestly been one of the most moving things I’ve ever witnessed.
