We’ve been doing this for 15 years now, sourcing, restoring and collecting vintage design from the 1950s to the 1970s.
We are always looking for pieces with character, beautiful materials and a story worth keeping.
What started as a shared passion for Mid Century modern design slowly grew into our work, our business and, in many ways, our way of life.
Over the years, VAN ONS has taken us to so many wonderful places, introduced us to inspiring people and, most importantly, allowed us to keep discovering beautiful pieces of design.

This is me, Ambra 👋
I’ve always been drawn to interiors, beautiful materials and the stories behind the things we surround ourselves with. Within VAN ONS, I’m often the one answering your questions, the person who selects items that complement our collection, styling and photographing them, and the person who restores the woodwork.
And, of course, there’s always another vintage market, shop or dusty storage room somewhere that I need to have a look at.
And this is Rik.
Rik is my partner in life and in VAN ONS,
and very much part of the reason this all works.
He has a great eye for design and an endless curiosity for how things are made. He’s often the practical one: complicated restorations, repairing, building, upholstering, transporting and making sure that my sometimes ambitious ideas actually become reality.
Together, we make quite a good team ❤️
