I had 2 rounds of 3; starting off with the Tofu & Mole tamal, Emmoladas and Potato & Poblano Tamal; and then for the 2nd round I had the Chicken Mole taco, the Enfrijoladas and the Aztek taco.

A wonderful and delicious Lunar New Year Afternoon Tea experience in that has been decorated for the occasion to celebrate the Year of the Horse. In collaboration once again with and

We were then served a selection of their fluffy scones with clotted cream and orange marmalade; both the Jasmine Earl Grey and Classic Buttermilk Scones were divine.

The presentation of this afternoon tea was extraordinary, we then received a three tier set, the bottom tray filled with the scones, the middle tray featured the savouries and then the top tray featured the sweets.

The 3 zero-proof drinks are the Awaken, Warmth and Clarity on the flight or you can order them on their own. My favourite from this trio was the Clarity which is made with the Seedlip spice 94, cucumber water, grapefruit, lavender, ginger beer and garnished with dehydrated grapefruit and micro flowers.

Our 1st course choices were the indulgent Pacific Chowder as well as the Hannah Brook Farm salad.

The 2nd course choices that we had were the Roasted sablefish and the Handmade Ricotta ravioli.

The 3rd course choice that we had was the Sorbetto and we chose both the delicious Chocolate as well as the Blood orange.
Now located in Richmond has merged their Nepalese, Indo-Chinese and Indian cuisine menu together with new signage at 140-3031 Beckman Pl, Richmond. Everyone who knew Davie Dosa from Davie Street can now visit them as they are serving up an extensive menu of authentic dishes in their Richmond based restaurant.

joined me and we had dosas, I had the Mix Masala and he had the Fish with the accompanying sauces.

We also had a selection of the steamed momos, a mix of chicken and goat; we added some of their sauces for the Jhol, as well as the two other home-made sauces.

On this visit we also had the Chicken lollipops with the Szechuan dip; the Indo-Chinese Idly and Vada; which we paired with a couple of refreshing Lime Sodas.

For many of their dishes you can add the various proteins they have listed, for our Hakka Street Noodles we had it with tofu.

For dessert we had Gulab jamun with ice cream.

for an outstanding dining experience where the service was memorable. I had the Carnitas Tamal- so good, Grilled yellowfin tuna and vegetables, 100% Vera Cruz vanilla ice cream with olive oil for a great ending.

had a delicious lunch in the heart of Zona Romantica⁣ with my high school friend at this family run eatery where I had the pescado stew.

enjoyed a solo dinner having the Grilled Seabass over potatoes and guacamole.

visited for some traditional Mexican eats at this festive decorated eatery that has a vast menu of dishes, I had the tasty Enchiladas Suizas!

After my flight was cancelled and all the passengers were put up at a hotel for the night, I went out to nearby where I enjoyed several complimentary appetizers including the Marlin, and then had the Grilled salmon dinner followed by the Guava pie with vanilla ice cream.

Had a wonderful visit to Mexico City where I finally had a chance to visit the National Museum of Anthropology, spend time with friends, do some more exploring and visit some great restaurants.

Some of the eating highlights included:

a great find in the Roma Norte neighbourhood near my hotel for the outstanding Tuna taco, Tuna Tostada and the Guava and cheese empanada.

one of my favorite meals at this Michelin starred restaurant was having the delicious Guajillo Chili Fish with blue corn tortillas and the Chocolate Tamal for dessert.

a very good Michelin awarded Mexican restaurant where it’s all about their house-made corn tortillas and more; I had the Manea (corn tamale with fish) and the Panucho (blue corn tortilla filled with beans) topped with pickled turkey, unique and delicious.

one of my favourite spots from my last cdmx visit for a Flat white and their delicious Matzo ball soup and also for their Whitefish bagel sandwich.

a very popular sourdough based bakery where the line moved quickly, I got a morning bun to go.

for a catchup dinner with my friend and I had the delicious Moroccan lentil soup and the Grilled seabass and then for dessert shared the Apple Tatin with Carlos.

I had an incredible visit to Oaxaca, a city that I have fallen in love with for its food, street art, and warm hospitality.
Some of the eating highlights included:

one of my favourite Michelin starred restaurant meals here with the Requeson (cheese) tamale and squash blossom with mole Coloradito and mole negro to start followed by the Native squash with white Pipian (pumpkin seed sauce) and mint wiith corn tortillas; and for dessert the Tamala pumpkin flan.

my other favourite Michelin starred restaurant started off with a House made tortilla with Oaxaca cheese and Tableside made salsa; I then had the outstanding Squash blossoms, ricotta, sweet potato, plantain purée; followed by the Zarandeado style Whole fish with caper mole sauce, smoked broccoli and prune; and for dessert the Sierra de chocolate.

a great find for dinner where google translate was the only way to know what to order. I had the delicious Enchiladas de mole chiapaneco; followed by the Neapolitan flan with fruit jam.

for an after dinner visit for their traditional Hot chocolate with water; and a delicious Guava pastry
