Vada POP-UP at ON READING
We’re excited to announce a Vada pop-up event at ON READING in Nagoya.
We’ll be bringing a selection of handcrafted works from our Kichijoji shop, including Kenji Sato’s wooden bears, Okinawan Yachimun pottery, and other handmade ceramics.
We’ll also be introducing our original eco bags and new-color Vada T-shirts.
We hope you’ll take this opportunity to visit us and explore the collection.

感謝今天開幕茶會來到現場的每位朋友，深深感受到大家對佐藤老師55年以來累積木雕創作能量的喜愛和興趣 ~看到每個人仔細端詳木雕熊作品的神情，真的非常感動！
也非常謝謝這次的策展人，吉祥寺選物店 Vada 的店長和田先生的分享，為了推廣老師的作品特地飛到臺灣，非常認真不遺餘力。
這次也是老師首度海外的展出，在臺灣難得能欣賞到這樣的作品，展期持續到6/28(日)歡迎大家來看展！如果有喜歡的木雕熊作品也可以直接帶回家，每隻熊都是獨一無二，表情姿態生動活潑，親自觀看觸摸更能感受到木頭圓潤的溫度。
還有和田先生企劃出版的這本書籍《佐藤憲治 53/100》，蘊含了他們對老師木雕創作生涯的深刻敬意，無論期間經歷大環境、社會經濟影響的起落，他仍投身創作，思考轉換題材，改變風格，不斷地創新，這也是我們希望從老師身上學習的特質！

池城さんは北窯・宮城工房で約10年間修業を積まれた後に独立。師である親方から受け継いだ力強く迫力のある作風が魅力で、その仕事からは確かな技術と存在感が感じられます。
実は昨年から少しずつ入荷はしていたのですが、毎回少量だったため、オンラインストアでご紹介する機会がなかなかありませんでした。今回、ようやく初めて掲載することができました☺️
個人的に宮城正享さんのファンということもあり、初めて手にした時は「すっごいいいじゃん！」と思わず声が出たのを覚えています。
かっこよくて勢いがあり、どこか親方のうつわを彷彿とさせる魅力があります。それでいて池城さんならではの力強さもしっかり感じられ、手に取るたびに惹かれるうつわです。

2024年是「北海道木雕熊」這項傳統工藝發展百年的時刻，但至今現役的木雕工藝師已經越來越稀少。
今年適逢熊雕大師—佐藤憲治(KENJI SATO)老師創作五十五週年紀念，選物店 Vada 的店長和田泰斗先生，將帶著他企劃的這本書《佐藤憲治 53/100》，以及老師的熊雕作品來到boven，進行一場特別的紀念展覽，敬請期待！

今にも動き出しそうな表情豊かな熊たち。
55年以上にわたり木彫り熊を彫り続けてきた佐藤さんの手仕事には、ひとつひとつに温もりと物語が宿っています。
ご来場いただいた皆さまが作品をじっくりと見つめ、それぞれお気に入りの一頭を探してくださる姿を拝見し、とても嬉しく思っています。
会期は6月1日（月）まで、残り3日となります。

木彫り生活55周年を迎える現役作家、
佐藤憲治さんが長い年月をかけて彫り続けてきた作品たちです。
ひとつひとつ表情も木肌も違い、
同じものがひとつとしてありません。
実際に並んだ姿を見ると、
手で彫るという営みの途方もない積み重ねと、
手仕事だからこそ宿る力を改めて感じます。
人の手で作り続けることの素晴らしさを、
ぜひ会場で感じていただけたら嬉しいです。
