There’s no doubt that the economy and many other factors are also dampening the mood, but I guess becoming an adult also entails taking the responsibility to create experiences and memories that you want to have, and that’s exactly what i’ve decided to do.
Sometimes when there are things we’re still desiring it can distract from the beauty of now. Last year I was 8 months pregnant & so uncomfortable. This year I have an 11 month old that absolutely lights up my world.
Here’s to constantly marvelling of the beauty of now, and creating memories that i’ll one day look back on and be glad I made.

I’m not a marriage coach or counsellor, I haven’t even been married long enough to give anyone advice but to be honest, what I am qualified to talk about is how much I am reaping the benefits of choosing well & choosing with God.
I chose for me, but I also had my daughter in mind & boyyyy is it paying off.
Especially in a day & age where people wonder wether having a boyfriend is embarrassing (🤣), I just want to say thank you to my incredible, thoughtful, KIND husband, he makes life so easy & so sweet, it’s not our anniversary, but he’s worth being celebrated everyday!
You know when people say poor people shouldn’t smile?🤣 That’s a joke but i genuinely internalised it in aspects of life where I hadn’t reached my goal.
A wise man once said don’t take away from today because you’re trying to build a better tomorrow. I am so guilty of being an over achiever, at the detriment of the joy of today.
I literally used to feel like I didn’t deserve to be happy with my progress because I hadn’t reached the peak of what success looked like to me, and it would make me so sad, despite the fact that I was living in what used to be prayer points just months ago.
Here’s a reminder to you & I, to be present and grateful for the answered prayers we currently live in🫶🏾

A part of me has felt too “grown” to see God as Father. I used to feel like i had so many responsibilities, so how could I possibly be a child, even to God? It was so hard to reconcile on some days.
Recently I’ve been reminded of the fact that God is Father. That’s why He sent Jesus in the first place. So I could call to Him Abba Father and be close to Him.
