This one is just special😍🔥

House on Fire had been on my list to see for soooooo long! It was well worth the extra time and detour.

To get to House on Fire you have to drive into Mule Canyon in Bears Ears National Monument area, pay a fee and hike 2.1 miles, but I’d gladly do it all again.

💯 worth it to see these incredible ruins up close!😍

To see the glow like a 🔥 make sure to time your visit around 10-11 am!

Is this one on your bucket list?!👀

Would you wake up early for this?👀

Did you know that most of Yellowstone is closed in the Winter? Except to snow coach and snowmobile tours?❄️

🙌And because of this sees significantly less visitors in the Winter, making for small or no crowds, more wildlife sightings and no traffic(unless it’s caused by bison!🦬)

👉Some of the coolest experiences of my life have been my winter snow coach tours in Yellowstone! And this year did NOT disappoint!

🐺The Wapati wolf pack had a recent kill and we watched as they ate, played, howled and mated🫣 watching the alpha and listening to their howls were the highlight of the day!

🦅we also saw a couple bald eagles and a golden eagle hanging around the wolves!

🦊Seeing 5 foxes & 4 coyotes in and around Hayden Valley

🦢Many trumpeter swans

♨️Cool geologic features

🦬And of course plenty of bison!

👉There are two tour options typically on these tours, a canyons tour(Grand Canyon of Yellowstone) and an Old Faithful tour. We did Canyons!

⏱️Tours range from 7 am-5 pm but could start or end earlier/later.

🦬The only wildlife you can guarantee seeing are bison and trumpeter swans, but every year I’ve gone I’ve seen plenty of wildlife(coyotes, foxes, wolves, eagles and otters)

🥪There isn’t much food available at the stops(a couple warm stops with vending machines and one selling some snacks and coffee), so pack everything you may need to eat or drink!

🤑Pricing is around $230 ish for a full day tour but prices can vary with different companies. We have used and really enjoy their service!

🚙If you want to access Yellowstone in the Winter in your car, you can only visit the Northern portion of the park through Gardiner!

👇👇👇

West Yellowstone Musts:

⛷️Take advantage of the Nordic trails around town to ski/snowshoe!
🍦grab some ice cream at the cute soda shop/gas station in town!
🐻Visit the and see some grizzlies, wolves and otters up close!
🎥Catch an IMAX show about Yellowstone
🛍️Go shop in the cute shops downtown and find some fun souvenirs.

Would you take a winter tour into Yellowtsone?

You NEED to do this Florida roadtrip at least once in your life!🙌🌊☀️
(Save this! & send to the person you want to go to Florida with!)

🌊Florida is the perfect escape from the Winter blues! Is there anything better than laying on a sunny beach in February?! 😍

🚙Some other fun options you can include here:

👉Go tour the Kennedy Space Station
👉 Spend time at beaches on the gulf side of Florida!
👉Spend time visiting Biscayne National Park(near Miami), we went to the historic center and walked the boardwalk trail here which was fun but wised we booked a boat tour to really explore it!
👉Take a ferry to the Bahamas for the day! It’s only a couple hours and you can spend the day in Bimini! I don’t know this was a thing until recently and you better believe we WILL be doing this on our next trip!
👉Visit Universal Studios theme parks(much better deals than Disney world tbh! And I need to check out the new Ministry of Magic🤩)
👉Take a day tour out to Dry Tortugas National Park, this one is pricey and time consuming, but I’ve heard such good things! I’d love to make it out there one of these days!!

🏖️Also since it was too hard to include in the video some of our favorite stops in the Florida Keys were👇

👉Bahia Honda State Park(this was our favorite beach!)
👉Rain Barrel Village
👉Feed the Tarpon at Robbie’s(we didn’t get to this one but wanted too!)
👉Fort Zachary Taylor state park(another amazing beach!)
👉Grab key lime pie
👉See the southernmost point of the US
👉Go see Robert the Doll(we love haunted things😂)

Honestly I wish I was there now enjoying the beach and soaking up the sun!☀️

Who are you bringing to Florida for a roadtrip?🚙

Have you been to Meow wolf before?👀

These 5 art installations are unlike anything you have ever experienced. They are all different with their own unique stories and we have been to 3 of them!🙌

This is what they were like👇

📍Convergence Station, Denver

The largest of all the ‘s At 90,000 square feet on four levels! It’ll take you hours to explore!

The side quests and the unique and different worlds on this one made it one of my favorites!

Not only can you solve the main mystery, you can also solve side mysteries too and truly spend your entire day here!

We tried their restaurant and it was alright but they missed out on having a cool theme like Houston does, which would have just been the cherry on top!

📍Omega Mart, Las Vegas

This was the first Meow wolf we ever went to! Omega Mart had you start in the coolest(and strangest) grocery store you have ever seen!

And bonus! You can actually shop the store and buy the weird and fun products which was so much fun!

This one had my favorite storyline of the three, we solved this mystery and had fun exploring the store and everywhere it led too!

We didn’t visit their bar here, but hear they serve some snacks too, but we did buy drinks and some cereal in the actual grocery store part which was fun!

📍Radio Tave, Houston

We visited this one just last November, it’s the current newest Meow wolf(new ones coming to LA this year!)

This one was super interesting, no cards to use to solve the mystery, instead this one was more of an exploration where you could read notes, listen to audios, watch clips and piece it together randomly.

I never felt like I completely solved it but did feel like I somewhat understood the mystery.

This one had live performers which added to the strangeness that you come to love about the different Meow Wolf’s!

The restaurant here had simple and affordable food but we loved how themed it was! It made for a fun experience!

If I had to pick one that is my favorite of the bunch I would say Omega Mart, just the novelty of it was so fun. But all 3 were definitely worth the visit!

Have you been to any of these?!
Places in the US that feel like another planet part ✌️

We have seen some truly stunning landscapes on our roadtrips around the US😍

If you missed part 1 scroll back on my page❤️ you don’t want to miss those!! 🙌

Where would you want to go first?!👀

One of the most important things you can do before heading outdoors is become familiar with the 7 principles of leave no trace!

So here is a little bit more info on each of these principles👇

1. Plan ahead and prepare: for your own safety you should always prepare for your outdoor adventure, download maps, know where the trail is, know what your skill level and abilities are before attempting a big outing, know the rules and regulations of the area.

2. Travel & camp on durable surfaces: always keep to trails, they are designed specifically for use and to protect the surrounding eco system(don’t create short cuts!), set up camps in high traffic areas and try to minimize your impact as much as possible.

3. Dispose of waste properly: this is more than just throwing your garbage away and packing out anything you bring in! This also means to use the bathrooms available(if there are any) and not just go on trails. For areas without bathrooms that means researching whether you can dig a hole and bury your human waste or if you need to pack it out with you.

4. Leave what you find: leave behind the pretty rocks, flowers and anything else you may find along the way. Try to minimize any altering of the eco system and leave it how you found it. This also means no carving names and initials in trees and rocks!

5. Minimize campfire impacts: before starting a fire restrictions and regulations in the area. Think ahead of you can bring a stove instead. The best place to build a fire is inside a campfire ring in an establish camp area. Keep fires small and make sure they have completely burned out, cover with water to extinguish.

6. Respect Wildlife: always observe wildlife from a distance, don’t try to get close for a better look or photos. Travel quietly and do not approach wildlife, chase wildlife or try to feed them!

7. Be considerate of others: be kind, travel quietly to not disturb other groups, be mindful of your pets and clean up after them, and make sure to give uphill hikers the right of way.
