I came to London extremely excited because I was about to open a show. I had prepared a lot beforehand; collaborations, artists, museums, collectors… I was in contact with all of them one way or another. I knew it would be difficult and exhausting. I also knew it would be worth it.
By chance, somehow after talking with Fi, I managed to be included in the event at Maddox Gallery during Women’s Week. When I first went to buy a ticket they told me everything was sold out, but somehow I still found a way to get in. (Thanks a lot again 🙏🏻)
There I had the chance to listen to the panel of, whose work I really admire, and after the talk I got the chance to meet her, which was really special for me.
The place, the voice and the presence of women in art is incredibly valuable. Seeing women who produce, open space and inspire each other together creates a very powerful feeling.
Being part of that atmosphere during a week like this made it even more meaningful.
Then on March 6 we opened our exhibition at in Shoreditch as part of. After all the preparation, the rush and the stress, finally opening the exhibition felt really good.
We had a lot of fun, met great people, and once again it reminded me that all the effort was worth it.
London has been beautiful. It still is. Hoping for many more like this. I just hope the rest of the journey continues as beautifully as it started.

Eskişehir yolu boyunca o iki küçük resim, rüzgarla birlikte başka bir hayatın yolunu tuttu.
Kendi sergime iki resmimi kaybederek geldim!
Gerçekten çok aptalca ama kendi resim sergime son saniyede resim yetiştirmeye çalışıp, günlerce uyanık kalıp sonra bi güzel o resimlerimi kaybetmek… başka bir seviye.
Çünkü hayat tam da böyle bir şey:
Ne kadar hazırlarsan hazırla, her zaman bir şey eksik gelir.
Ama eksik geldik diye eksik kalacak değiliz.
ve olmasa, bu gece bu kadar diri, bu kadar gerçek olmazdı.
Yanımızda bir de vardı; haftalarca serigrafi baskılarla uğraştık, camlara bastık, Helios’un vitrinine “Kafatası Servisi” diye imzamızı çaktık.
Pet kuaförlere bile kafatası bastık yeri geldi, sabahlara kadar boyaya bulanıp güldük.
Fatih iyi basıyor bu arada, arada övmesek çatlar.
Tommy tam Los Santos’tan kaçmış bir isyan figürü gibi;
Aykut ise şehre gizli bir yıldız gibi.
Jack Kerouac’ın ruhuna selam çakar gibi:
“Var olmak mı istiyorsun?
O zaman önce kaybolmayı göze alacaksın.”
Ve ben, bu şehrin üstüne kaybolmuş iki resim ve koca bir geceyle varım.
