Cenote Minotauro was one of the first caves I fell head over heels in love with. Working as an open water instructor in Puerto Aventuras in 2008, Dennis (shop owner) would let me borrow the truck and bugger off to Minotauro in the afternoon to get some cave dives under my belt. Memories of happy, lazy afternoons when it was just a hole off to the side of the San Carlos road. These days, there's a bit more infrastructure, but you also don't have to put your drysuit on under the pouring rain if you don't want to:) Photos of the sandwich press line from about 5 years ago with Bre Kramer.

Olivier doing a demo dive on the sick little Sump UK S7 rebreather a few weeks ago. The tiny size, easy of no-mounting it, and fantastic work of breathing continue to blow me away. We are looking forward to offering courses at the shop asap.:) We will be posting more info about training on the S7 with us as units become available!
Where's the rebreather??? I spent a few hours with Oliver at Ponderosa running some demos for him on the sweet little SUMP UK S7 Rebreather. It's a tiny sidemounted rebreather with nearly perfect work of breathing in any position, packing 1.9 kg of sorb, and so small that it pretty much disappears in the water. I'm in love and hope to be offering courses on this as soon as the instructor units arrive (so soon, I hear).

Cenote Nohoch Nah Chich never disappoints. Here, Richard floats among the delicate stalactites and stalagmites along the mainline of the cave and the breathtaking "Heaven's Gate" formation. This area of the cave is accessible to intro to cave and full cave divers.
