改名十周年記念公演を終えて。
With gratitude for the past.
With prayer for the future.
Into the next decade.
この日、あらためて深く感じたのは、
この十年という歩みは、決して一人では成し得なかったということです。
十年前、日田の地で「梅川壱ノ介」は改名披露をし、生まれました。
右も左も分からぬまま、それでもただひたすら高みを目指し、
一歩一歩、芸道を歩んでまいりました。
振り返れば、幾度となく壁もありました。
綱渡りのような瞬間もありました。
けれど、その一つひとつに忘れることのできない出逢いがあり、
心を震わせる時間があり、
かけがえのない景色がありました。
そのすべてが、今日という舞台へと繋がっていたのだと思います。
6月27日、
【梅川壱ノ介 改名十周年記念公演】を無事に終えることができましたのは、
師・坂東玉三郎先生より、芸道の真髄を学ばせていただいておりますこと。
そして何より、これまで変わらぬ温かさで支え、見守ってくださった皆さまのおかげです。
ご来場くださった皆さま。
いつも応援してくださる皆さま。
この舞台を共に創り上げてくださったすべての皆さまへ、
心より感謝申し上げます。
本当にありがとうございました。
そしてこの節目の舞台に、
中井智弥さん、朝来桂一さん、喜多村一朗さん、財前真由美さんという、

日本航空JALさまの国内線と国際線の降機時に上映する「降機用ビデオ」が12年ぶりにリニューアルし、出演させて頂いております。
音楽は前回と同じく、久石譲さん作曲「明日の翼」。久石譲さんの優しく、愛溢れる音楽の中に【日本の伝統美】を踊りに落し込み、取り組ませていただきました。
日本を誇りに思い、このお仕事に誇りを感じ、自身の集大成となる作品として、振付をさせていただき、一生懸命に努めさせていただきました。

玉三郎先生の『お話と素踊り』公演の千穐楽を青森県八戸市におきまして、無事に千穐楽を迎えることができました。こちらの公演では質問コーナーで先生の相手役を勤めさせていただいております。
